In looking at the slides, given that the monetization slide comes after a slide of financial health and debt reduction, I think its just their standard pitch about monetizing their assest to reduce debt, and that they can do more of the same if need be. Tom

Guys and Gals, I'm wondering how much anyone knows about Energy XXI (EXXI). They're another small, relatively young shelf independent that's been actively acquiring developed properties and milking the remaining reserves. Their big producers were purchased in 2007 from Pogo for $415M, but they've made three or four acquisitions since 2006. They have 50% working interest in those ex-Pogo Main Pass blocks, but operate them....

how bout the risk of the titan not being deployed properly, or breaking down, or the risk that it doesn't produce as much as promised? i don't know how real or significant these risks are, but this is also something i don't think we can get a very good feel on. Not sure if its an old slide or not, but the map on page 15 shows MinDocII at Telemark. As much as I would like to see them repeat the cycle of building the platforms, monotizing the asset and maintaining half ownership and gaining the use for 30 to 40 years, this would give me a bit of pause if it ramps up too quickly. They really need to work on the debt before taking off down this road again. Boris
