I am used to Russian fake beggars on Moscow streets, and would never give money to a Russian, but I was taken off guard by a well-dressed foreigner.

But will it stay this time? Yes it looks like it might be a white Christmas after all. It,s time to try out the skis, and take my little one out on his slide. And yes it is definately snowing here in the Western Rublevka area of Moscow. I can only hope it stays clean and white.

I quite like CafeMax They're located: Piatnizkaja , MGU , Novoslobodka , Sokol , Sportbar There is one cafe near Alekseevskaya metro, one stop from VDNH — Internet-salon

..all the afghan and chechen veterans who are out of luck and you see them in the Metro and other places.Veterans organisations have declared on Tv and in radio shows that 'their' people are not begging. ..on most days in any given Metro train you can see young women walking through with canes/limps/a little kid/ any other variation. using the same metro line more or less at the same time i came across the same young woman walking...

erm yes i have not been here long but 200 rur will pretty much get you anywhere in moscow 300 rur at worse however if you pick a car up at a nightclub you may pay considerably more. i hope this helps

If you want to by a gift or a souvenir, don't buy it at train stations, because the stuff is always too expensive there.

I'll be brutally honest: she wants a sponsor, and she has one now. If you could sponsor her, she'd be with you in a heartbeat, especially if you have an EU passport, which would be the trump card on her current boyfriend.
