I'd be very careful with the woodcock legs. Overcooking very negatively changes the flavor and texture. I like them barely cooked, still red on the inside. With the legs, this would be even more true. Good luck and enjoy!

Have you ever? two trigger question

Scott, I've tried it once or twice on grouse to no avail. I don't think it's a huge deal. Now pheasants, all the time and it's proven it's worth with birds on the ground. The one thing I like is if you shoot once and open your gun up and another bird comes out you can close your gun and still be able to shoot. Most, (other than Ruger) O/U's you can't do that.

Maybe he needs Depends. If the dog is old it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility that it just can't hold it as long anymore.

I shoot a 20 as it lighter and doesn't seem to mess up the meat as bad. I only use my 12 for phez.

Back to the original premise. I have a two trigger SXS. I have pulled the rear trigger first but I can't recall if that shot (s) ever found home. I would bet no, the fact that I can't hit anything any time with any gun I own, regardless of the sequence of barrels. But in the recesses of my mind I want to state that yes, I did kill at least one bird in the manner descibed by 2 ES and 1 EP are great.

all dogs. Mine are fond of horse poo, dead garter snakes, and turkey "grease". We have a routine at the back door, sniff test, and waterless shampoo if needed.

The only shotgun I have now is a 12. I sold all my others prior to moving out of Michigan. No big deal, I can change loads for different birds.

It's just the hound in them. That is why most hounds are kennel dogs.

I'm very happy with the vets at Moore Veterinary Hospital in St Clair Shores. They are located at 22300 Greater Mack Ave, Saint Clair Shores, MI 48080, (586) 772-6111.
My last dog, a field bred springer, eventually died of chronic kidney disease at 13 1/2. He was diagnosed at 9 with kidney problems and I switched him to a prescription diet, science diet KD, and monitored his kidney ...

Gene Hill described grouse hunting as a round of sporting clays inside a broom closet.
If your hat doesn't get knocked of your head at least twice each half hour you are not in dense enough cover.

Check out our spring litters.
We will have what you are looking for.
Not sure if I can show a link so I will just tell you to check out our litters page and look at Rooster/Jesse and Kenai/Bella.
These dogs are all as good as retrievers as upland dogs so don't be scared.

Every article on the web references hounds chasing a coyote. Whoever shot
them knew what they had done, the dogs' tracking collars were apparently
found buried.

I think the reason the double barrel (SXS or O/U) guns are so popular is because you can use 2 different chokes in the barrels (first barrel for close shots - second barrel for farther shots after missing with first shot ) and also you can put 2 different shells in each barrel - (like a #7 1/2 shot shell in the first barrel and a #6 shot shell in the second). And... They really do look cool!...

We'll see. I have my doubts about the whole bio fuel industry myself since the swing is going more and more towards electric in the world of cars.
These guys are rumored to be going public soon and their cars don't use a drop of the stuff...and if they manage to lower the cost of their vehicles...

NO choice with my Fox model B single trigger 16 ga..
Fires improved barrel with first pull of the trigger and modified barrel second pull.
If you only shoot once and open and reload it will fire the improved barrel first again.

Geez, I usually hose 'em down outside. In the tub? Very understanding wife you got there. Mine was never one for rolling in scat. Always prefering long dead racoons. Then I washed him with No-O-dor pet shampoo and right out of the shoot he's rolling in you know what. I guess he didn't care for being scent free. If the smell persist. you might just try the skunk remedy with hydrogen peroxide, ...
