any ideas for this leftover?

I LOVE lamb curry (especially a good spicy Vindaloo), but rarely make it due to Mr. B. not eating red meat. But when he's not dining at home, I'll often pick up a couple of inexpensive loin lamb chops & make a small curry from them. Delicious!! I envy you having all that wonderful home-grown lamb to play with - lol!! If you have a grinder (or I guess a food processor "might" also work), you could also make...

yeah - duh, why didn't I think of that. We have a good hot curry at least 2x a month, the lamb would be great addition.

I use leftover lamb just like leftover beef. I usually make a brown sauce and serve over rice or noodles.

I tried one for the first time today. It was quite tasty. Is there anything you can do with these things besides just eat them?

Mashed potatos that rock

I've done the "Make Ahead Mashed Potatoes" the past several years. They turn out great and it's nice to have them taken care of a day or so in advance.

ready made pizza dough

I buy one at Harris Teeter in the freezer section that I believe is called "NY Pizza Dough". It comes in a black box and has two dough balls. Its pretty good, way better than the pillsbury stuff.

this recipe is durable. It forgives substitutions and is inexpensive and easy. I have done so many variations over the last year that I got souped out. Perfect time of year to bring it back.

I can't give you a brand name, but have had luck with whatever the supermarkets carry - either fresh refrigerated in the deli department, or frozen in the frozen section wherever they have bread dough, pie crust, etc. Usually comes in a little plastic bag.

questions-- so you mash the potatoes together with the cheese, cream, onion, and then what--spread it in a baking dish or something? And is it covered while baking? Seems like it would be too dry if not. I like that you can make it in advance-- usually getting the potatoes to the table while still piping hot is the biggest scramble on turkey day.

Wish I'd seen this before! Per a friend's request, I made the Cook's Illustrated version of GBcasserole - nothing canned/frozen/premixed except for the fried onions. It was totally time-consuming and not worth it IMO. Next year I'm going with your recipe - sherry sounds like the secret weapon here!
