Some parts of the country almost shut down during deer season. Alot of guys have thousnads of dollars and countless hours tied up in a hobby that is only available to them a couple days a year. Im not one of them but here in KY it seems like I'm in the minority. The gun should have worked the first time. They will get it fixed.

You would normally think that staff would be kept at relatively reasonable levels to keep up with production going into the Holidays. I'm not all that sure of statistics of gun production, but most companies ramp up employes, and production within reason during this time of year. I know where I worked, some took vacations at various times during the Holidays but others looked at as an opportunity to make some additional cash during this...

Two of my 1911's were ordered and built (one on and one ahead of schedule) during the holidays. This is absolutely no exuse. Those of you who think its simply OK to wait and wait for a gun, then have a faulty product delivered, then wait endlessly to get it fixed, obviously do not have $3000+ tied up in a product you no longer have any confidence in. NHC Slide Stops/Pic Request

Yeah I thought of that too, but no dice my hands are fine. Funny thing though I have had that problem with my Sig too. Here's a picture of a Springfield TRP Slide Stop (left and lower), that's been perfect with the same mags. On the right is the Nighthawk with that ramp. It's finished, so maybe I'm wrong and it's supposed to be there. The one pictured is the Talon, but the GRP is the exact same too. So...is it similar...

i'm on month 5 of an expected 12 for my LMT piston AR

I ordered a Talon with the recon frame and a bull barrel. I could not be more pleased with the results. The extra weight tames recoil of hot defense loads and turns ball ammo into a bump rather than a "kick".

oh this might seem like a silly question, but since it came with 8 rd mags, does that mean i can carry 8+1?

With a 2 hand grip I know that there are a few, to include myself at on time when my thumb rode the slide stop on one of my Sigs, the slide wouldn't lock back until I corrected my grip....though oddly, just that one pistol. May not be your cause, but it does happen!

bereahoward, I too was notified by George at GS about my Dominator that had been ordered with a DB slide. George let me know that I had options as to another finish. After he contacted NHC and spoke with Craig about another finish option I requested, George sent me another email telling me that they may in fact be using the DB once again. Seems that the owner or person in charge where they do ...
