Ah... NHC would just be the middle man, it's not like they would do any "work" on it if you're just wanting the DB other than just some prep.

What is the better Carry Peice

Either can be concealed pretty well, the bobtail guns eliminate the sharp rear corner that tends to print first and is most noticeable. It's also varies by individual as well and of course holster, clothing, belt options etc. Myself, I can conceal a bobtail commander sized gun better/easier than a officers sized gun, it's not a major difference but I have more clothing options and a wider range of motion before the gun prints...

only reason i want a 9mm is i have scaled back to one caliber in all my handguns. in a 1911 it would be like a laser with very little recoil.

Given that they both conceal about the same way, I think the big difference is that the T3 holds one less round.

why not a ladyhawk, bobtailed in .45? it's even 4 oz. lighter, although that weight benefit might disappear because its been upped to .45.

Sent Talon for a Checkup
Published (2009-11-05 13:49:00)
Purchased in '07 this pistol remained a safe queen and has had about 500rounds. It had always shot to the left of point of aim and thought that the sights needed minor adjustment, the grips always came loose after a few rounds and I was never happy about the fit of the magazine chute. I was able to obtain an armorer's services at my last range session, while breaking in a Walther P99 in 40S&W and shooting perfectly at point...

What do you think about your Heinie, is it what you expect for the costs, or now that you have it ,would you have prefered something else?????

Congrats,
I have also had great luck with Nighthawk and Wilson, both equally.
Well, I know you said you were getting the camera, but Gunny is restless...
Then we must do the happy dance for the arrival and field validation of a new pistol...
Good luck. Later, Lumpy.

I have a T3 and Pred. II bobtail. I carry both, but normally grab the T3. Both are reliable. I do not see any difference in the concealing of either "in use."

I suspect it would look about the same as the hammer pin installed...unless they contour the edge.

Wow, I wish I had a local range that had a $2000 gun as a rental.
You'll never regret it... the GRP is a GREAT entry level gun.
Not sure what it would take to make it a 9mm though... it would have to have a ramped barrel.

Here's a closer picture of my VT Recon, plus an addition I picked up down in Houston at the big gun show Sunday.

Great. Mind if I ask, are you going to have to pay for anything?
