i pre mom went tact crit for two reason 1, i kill things faster 2 , higher crit heals. I always had a decent icpr but my power pool was low got up my power pool w/ a decent icpr and i'm happier. i call for less power now. despite what ppl think of me i do heal a lot and i try to not rely on others so i will eventually gear up and get 5k /5k right now i'm 5k/4k and 1,100 icpr. the only time power for me is ever really an issue is if...

Good grief, really? Were you fully specced for Warrior-Skald and in WarSpeech? Maybe I just got lucky, but I didn't really think this little solo quest was hard at all. I didn't drop WarSpeech, I didn't bother healing, I don't think I even bothered to fear anything off of me or the elf, I just made sure I had all aggro and dps'd everything.

Look closer. The minstrel traits aren't geared towards particular skills . They are geared towards particular roles . You can trait to make yourself a more effective soloer, a more effective healer or a more effective buffer. You won't see a trait that adds to a particular ballad but you will see a trait that increases ballad damage by 10% another that turns a ballad into a group wide buff instead of a self buff and a trait that...

By the time you reach level 8, you've gotten all your basic staple Ballads (save for 1), the most important for a solo Minstrel being Ballad of Resonance due to the fact it increases your damage output by 10%.
