Personal opinion from one of the over-50 set - go no-bangs while you can, there will come a time in the aging process where most people almost have to have bangs to soften their look and cover wrinkles

That's some amazing growth! It took my 2 years to get the same amount of growth... Do you do anything special to make it grow, or is it just good genetics?

I'd suggest a clarifying wash and then switch to a brand other than Suave. I think that Suave has something waxy in it. I've seen others here make the same observation. Try VO5 or White Rain and see if that makes a difference.

Hmm .. I measure BSL as the bottom of my shoulder blades, or 23", because I'm impatient and if I measured to the bottom of my strap I'd probably get fed up at not reaching a goal in so long that I'd cut. My longest layer is now at 23", so I'm at 'can-I-call-this-BSL', but I won't really feel like I'm at BSL until it's at least an inch or two longer.

Personally, I hate bangs, I always have. But if you're questioning it, go no bangs, at least for now. I would invest in a good pair of synthetic clip-in bangs for special occasions if you like the look; I have friends that use them and rave about them. If you find yourself liking the bangs more than not, go ahead and cut.

I am currently brushing hip with a U hemline. When the top of the U reaches hip, I plan to about 2 inches to thicken my hemline and hopefully get rid of a lot of the taper. Then I'll be on my way to TB!! My current rountine is WO. I've been doing that now for 5 months and really like it. I'm only shedding about 10-20 hairs a day since I started it. I also henna every 2 months. The ...

My goal was to grow to BSL. I'm growing out dye, so my goal now is to be all virgin. So, I'm sure there will be some cutting and trimming going on.

I cut and I HATE it. I'm new to the LHC. I found it by researching faster ways to promote hair growth. I've been sick and in morning for the last three weeks. I had hair down to the middle of my back and then my hair dresser thought a cute pixie would be nice. OH MY GOSH...IT IS HORRIBLE. I've been sobbing for weeks now. I hate it so bad ...
