Oxidation for Yemeni?

It's hard to just say exactly. I mean at least 1-2 shades darker, but every person's hair is unique. You'll have to see for yourself to be sure

Henna Conditioners?
Published (2009-11-25 09:30:00)
If it's a rinse-out conditioner, I doubt it will do much. Henna needs time to colour the hair. If it's a deep conditioner that you leave in for 30 minutes or more, then I imagine it would act like a henna gloss and deposit some colour.

I already do ACV rinses everytime I wash and especially after hennaing. I also just CO the first wash after henna, because I hope that the tensides aren't as harsh as in normal shampoo (though Idilute my shampoo). I wonder if a rinse with dissolved Baking Soda would make to colour take better. My theory behind this is that alkaline hings open the cuticle. In some treatments, an alkaline ingredient helps the hair to absorb...

Weird. My hair can't stand not having a rinse. It makes my hair soft, shiny
and voluminous.

1. Depends on your starting color
2. I never got purple tones with henndigo, the henna was reddish and the indigo was blueish, which turned deep dark brown on my dark hair. Now that I tried to remove it with bleach, those parts are more green.

Re: Was your indigo permanent?
Mine was permenant (so far). I used it after henna and left it on a good few hours. Some seemed to wash out for a couple of washes but the colour stayed a nice black. I last used henna/indigo at least 9 weeks ago and my hair is still dark - no sign of my natural colour at all....

Misconceptions, Mistakes and Tips with Henna for hair
Hi everyone. I finally got myself together to write a blog about this. It's been a piece of work that I've been wanting to do for some time now.
The only thing is that I wonder if I've missed a few things, which I am sure I might have. But need you all to please read it, and let me ...

There are natural clays that have staining abilities and staying power as pigments. One of these is ochre, which comes in a variety of colours. The pigment is from iron oxides, which are considered to be non toxic. There are cautions about inhaling these powders, although they are not considered to be hazardous products.
They could be used in a paste form to deepen the stain or a liquid ...

Hi everyone. Hope you're all having a good weekend!
I've been using the shampoo bars regularly now, and had some build up over time, that made it feel a little too greasy-ish, so I figured ACV must be for me. So I bought some and did it after I shampoo'ed with my bar. It really helped and worked perfectly!!
BUT it stinks so much, and I can't figure how some people are using it........

Stupid question about why vinegar left my hair...
icky, oily and took hours to dry.
I used a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water on my scalp hoping it would kill any microscopic fungus that may or may not be present. After it was rinsed my hair felt heavy, so I conditioned the length.
My hair took so long to dry and when it did dry...

Re: Deep breath...here we (henna) go!
Personally I don't have any experience with using henna but just wanted to say good luck! I am sure some henna experts will let you know if you're missing anything but from the sounds of it you are very well prepared. Please share some pictures when you are done!...

I am sorry to inform you that most folks on here are shockingly...
normal.
I live in an area with a large number of people of all races and both genders who sport 'abnormally' long hair and I love it. I was at Costco of all places and saw a black gentleman with waist length dreads and I had to stop and compliment him. There are a lot of native americans around me and many of them have ...

You could try a protein treatment to try and fill in the holes in your hair. Maybe it will help the hair hold on to the henna better. Protein treatments are only temporary though, so you'd have to keep at it every 6-8 weeks. I'm not certain this will work, but it's worth a try. Since your hair is porous from the bleach it will only help anyway.
