Hello fellow long hair lovers. My hair is currently just getting past shoulder length and it's thick and wavy. I love short hair, it's classic and simple, but for the past while long hair has been pulling at my heart strings. I figure we only get on life so why not enjoy our lovely beautiful hair and pamper it to show it's full potential! Happy hair growing. I look forward to chatting with you all on the boards.

Welcome to LHC! When I had a fair number of splits, I would S&D, which means I go somewhere where there is bright light with scissors, look for splits, and snip them. I rarely get splits nowadays, but I take the scissors with me when I detangle in the shower, and cut off tangles that are close to the ends, because they have at least two damaged hairs. Better to prevent splits. I wear my hair up most of the time and sleep with it in a...

Welcome Leo is my best friend too I use it all the time! Lately I also managed to install two dictionaries on my browser. UK English and Austrian German When using henna you should rather be scared of red or reddish hair, then green hair That's what I can tell from my experience. At the moment I can keep my desire for new products low, but not for long

Hi, Mike! I'm so amazed that you love and support your wife so much that you went to the effort to join this forum and post here! Major kudos to you for being a great husband.

I encounter it! it's so annoying. I'm going to keep watching this thread to see if anyone has any advice or solutions haha.
But my hair is up like 95% of the time. So I just get static on the top of my hair, where I have a lot of halo hairs. And I like wearing lots of fluffy warm hats, which doesn't help but I need a warm head when I go outside! haha

Hello from Switzerland
Hi everyone!
I'm a 23 years old female, living in Switzerland (near Zurich). My first thoughts upon discovering this forum were "a forum solely dedicated to taking care of long hair? Now I've really seen everything!" Nevertheless, I'm really happy to have found this place - taking care of my long hair is quite a chore, and I'm glad to have found a place to learn new ways to do so!
My hair is slightly wavy at shorter lengths, but has grown long enough to straighten ...

Hi everyone! I'm new.
When I was younger I had hair down to my lower back, I don't think I had ever cut it more than a trim until I was 8 years old. I had a few inches cut off, then 2 years later I had it cut into a short bob, which really didn't suit me. I let it grow out and by the time I was in my teens, my hair had grown long again. I started coloring it, from the age of about 14 to 17 I ...
