I also want to add that being vocal is what they need. They are right, the girls of today that are winning are either robots or not exactly endearing. It does not make the golf bad or not good entertainment, but it seems to be that is what the case is. The same could be said for the PGA by the way. Swings are all the same. Personalities are all the same (somewhat), but we are seeing greatness and domination, and that always wins out. And in...

Yeah. I thought the same about the rough. Most of it appeared as thick as the fringe around the greens of my home course. Next year I bet they will make the course a bit more difficult, hopefully by making it a disadvantage to miss the fairway.

The Verizon FIOS listings don't show the LPGA Championship playing - just Paid Programs, etc., so I remotely-programmed my DVR to record the next three hours of TGC just now. Thanks for the tip Harry. It was easy to setup the web remote control, and I've got it bookmarked on my WM phone.

I don't think this has been mentioned, but Monday finishes can also cause difficulties re: volunteers. So many will have to return to work, so many will have flights out, etc. It puts a burden on those that are able to stay and help.

Certainly, Monte deserves HOF status in the European PGA, where he's won 31 times and been Order of Merit winner eight times. Too bad he hasn't had nearly the success in the US PGA.
