I work with quite a few people who don't recycle. One chap is 'too stuck in his ways' to bother, and the rest are too lazy.
We have a recycling bin not more than 5 paces away from any one desk, but getting up seems to be too much for some. I have asked about why certain people don't ...

I never knew that about old and new material but it doe make total sense.
I am such a horder and try to find uses for everything, I had a few old surf tees that either had stains on them or were to small but I loved them so much I couldn't part with them. Well I cut the images off and sewed them onto a camping cusion I made over summer. That way I get to enjoy my t-shirts all over again ...

You may have thought of it already but if you roll the pillow up it makes a good filling for a
bolster cushion.

not too sure on what is in greeseproof paper.I wouuld probably shred it up and use in my paint/paper mixture. I've only used it these days for plastic bag ironing/welding. Might be worth talking at Alt Tech Centre at

I know just what you mean. But it's true, if I clear something out, I find I need it once it is gone and yet it as sat there all that time
