She has an excellent voice, but I have to admit I tend to prefer when she sticks to more traditional material. (The same is true for Mary Black.) I saw her once many years ago. Lately I've been feeling a little more pull back toward Celtic and English folk music (not the upbeat dance stuff, but the ballads), somewhat out of the blue.

May I add this, for any newcomers? Ramblingjack started the original game, asking us to... "... name a song title which uses a word [or words] from the previous title ..." Try not to link general, non-specific words like "the," "a," etc. I Want Candy - Bow Wow Wow

That is very touching. I have one of June Tabor's albums, called "Rosa Mundi," in which all of the songs have roses in their theme or story. It's one of my favorites, rose nut that I am, and she has a lovely, expressive voice.

Thank you -- the recent playlist has songs I like. I put it on, and it has gone from Alison Kraus to some nice Jeff Buckley as I type.
