Well, if either of the 2-4 yr olds are girls, you can go with anything 'Dora The Explorer'. My 4 yr old is driving me insane over the Dora Magical Welcome House. How I wish I could control Saturday morning commercials!!! Water babies, Fur Real Ponies, they can actually ride on..(something tells me DH will be buying that one this year..for the 4 yr old, not himself, lol.) We have so many Fur Real animals in this house..there is always...

13-15 y.o. - ditto what Shawn listed, plus digital camera, musical instruments, Vans socks, $$, Hollister or Abercrombie & Fitch clothing, skateboard, makeup, gift card to nail place. 2-4 y.o. toys, toys, toys! Rocky horse, big wheel, small cars they can ride, dolls, toy box, sidewalk chalk/washable paints, appropriate dvds, and more boring to them, clothing. 8 y.o falls more within the 13-15 y.o.

Sultry jasmine night, thanks for the info on yours. I have heard that many people rot their gingers whether they are in the ground or potted. Because I just got some rhizomes, I was concerned that I am starting them potted indoors during the dormant time and that is when they should be resting. Mine will always be in pots. I was told the alpinias do not go dormant and the blue ginger is not a true ginger so it does not go dormant. I got a...

I'm getting really antsy sitting here. I snuck out back for a second but couldn't really tell what's going on. I was only out for about 30 seconds so couldn't take much in. I did notice that I still have a huge variegated flowering maple outside and will have to figure a way to get that in without letting anyone know that I saw it, hmmmm????? The brugs with seed pods in the LR are still holding ...

The moment I was waiting for. Eddie didn't make it, but my gift did. Hand delivered by his sweet friend, Jeri, early this evening. Not what I was expecting, But I guess Eddie Knows best. Yes... the tag says "fake flowers" because that's what they are. You see, Eddie sent three packages, and I was instructed to choose one. This is what was in my special package. Ike really took a toll on my angels. I don't have anything to exchange but I can certainly pay for postage. If anyone is cutting back theirs for the winter I would love to have any and all. Approx. 80-90% of the brugs in the yard did not survive. It didn't matter if they were in pots, in the ground, old plants or new cuttings, they didn't like the 4' of salt water or the tree falling on them....

Good morning!! Things didn't go as planned! :)) Thank God! 'Arrant' is still with us! The Prednisone is what was a major problem! It had locked up his jaw & he couldn't eat or drink. I spent two nights with him in the den spoon feeding him & tablespooning water to him. I also slept in there on the floor with my quilts. I have no more vacation days left - but I spent the last two I had doing ...
