Well, I don't know you well enough to detect humor through text. So, to be safe, I will excuse myself from the thread and allow others to comment on the sofa, her sartorial sense, and her love of literature.

The electric company is a bad subject with me right now. PP&L is raising our rates 30 % in 2010. Not 10,not20 but 30% all at once

found 2 other methods: get some heavy hobby tissue cut into small pieces 1" x 1" or so mix some Elmers glue in a bowl with some water soak the tissues and apply to both sides, build up several layers, allowing it to dry between use electrical 'liquid tape', brush layers on, use some fine fabric to bridge any tears clean everything with alcohol

Be honest about it and tell them. If you don't and think you are getting by with something, it will only come back and bite you later.

Hey on another note, all the Chippewa boots on that site that I looked at tonight said " Made in USA" at the bottom of the product description. These do not. Dammit! I thought all of their stuff was US made.

Not for those cars they drive and/or the money they spend at Pep Boys.
I remember having an Ansa catback back in high school 20+ years ago (damn). I thought it was cool. It wasn't a fart pipe in my mind. I thought it sounded cool on my CRX Si.

Making a tree stump rot faster?
I'm wondering if anyone has any tricks to making a tree stump rot faster?
Background:
My parents had a tree cut down in the backyard back in Sept. It's about 2.5-3' around, and the base grew in part of and old rock wall that was removed from around the tree in the late 80s when the ...

Great post idea Kevin, for the best breed out there!
Here's my little guy named nodroG. He just turned four in August, we got the fella from the Great Lakes Golder Retriever Rescue when he was two. Great people doing good work. He's healthy as can be even while hovering at the 100 pound figure. He drags me along for a mile-plus walk every morning and again every evening. Our house is ...

Not familiar with Vista, but can you do a "file search" like you could with other Operating Systems? If so, you may have saved it, but it may have been saved somewhere else that you are not expecting. Most documents can be recovered if you have been saving them. UNLESS you was saving them to an external drive accidently.

Greatings from a former NMer, I grew up in Abq.
I recently test drove both the Ford Edge and the new Chevy Equinox (smaller than the Traverse w/o third row seating), and the Edge was better. This was a surprise as the Equinox is an all new model, priced higher, and has been getting stellar reviews in the auto news lately. The Chevy sales person said that GM had put all their engineering / ...
