Thats what happens when I try to start thinking to early in the morning. Thanks. sounds like the plug got soaked from the soaked patches and blocked the flame channel. Also, with those stinky pellets, misfires or no fires are getting pretty common on the forums lately. Get some loose T7 2f and give that a go. Those pellets are no good.

If he kept your money and the item, you can do two things. First, file a complaint with Gunbroker.com. Second, contact the county prosecutor in the county where he lives and ask to file a complaint for fraud using the internet.

I have gone from 50 grns to 100 and it groups ok at 50 but even if I max out my sight adjustment it does not bring my point of impact up far enough to hit center. And no I am not playing home chemist, I am just curios about the stuff is all.

I visited the DGW store a coupla months ago. They told me that if I was looking for something I should call them up. They have a lot of stock they don't list in the catalogue or the website. When he said that he pointed at a display case with a bunch of revolvers. I don't know if he did that because he knew that revolvers is all I care about or because he had something specific in mind. I would not be surprised if others are in the...

That's a great time right there. I had a similar experience with my then girl friend. After teaching her to respect and shoot firearms she really got to enjoy it. That was 20 years ago, we've been married for 19yr. Her favorite gun is a 12 ga scatter gun.

Hey folks, thanks for all the information. Since I have already purchased T7 50/30 pellets I will try those with 250gr and 200gr Shockwave sabots using 3 30 gr T7 pellets for a hunting load(that should be shoulder friendly!) I think I'll try a patched round ball and a bore button with the 3 T7 pellets also, just to have fun. 100 yd shots at anything in this neck of the woods is a rarity.

I was worried about the Pietta stuff after reading many horror stories. Don't worry. I am sure that it is still buyer beware but I ordered the 1860 Army and the 1858 Remington AND the 1860 Army Sherrif's model all within the last 2 months and Have nothing but good things to say about the fit and finish.

I have only used it in cartridges and it works quite well. All my muzzle loaders are traditional using #11 caps or flint so they burn real black powder.

Getting the swab all the way down and twisting it in that position should take up most of the crud, especially if you're doing it twice. Use a nipple pick before reloading to make sure crud hasn't been packed in the flash hole. Use it again after loading to make sure the spark will have a clear path.
I've shot mine 50+ rounds and there was some crud when I pulled the plug for cleaning, but...

It's usually a case of someone buying the C&B or getting one for a present with the intention of shooting it in competition, or for general plinking; without having a complete understanding of what it takes to use one on a regular basis. They find out that there is more to shooting one than just loading a cartridge and blasting away; so, they decide that it is more trouble than they are willing ...

I usually put some bore butter in it or some hopes 9, so i always run a few dry patches down to get it all out before i go shooting.
Even if you don't put something in it for storage, i would run one or two dry patches down the barrel, then shoot off a cap before you go shooting.

you're just wasting expensive powder with 3 pellets. The frame will stand up to it but the accuracy most likely will suffer due to a short barrel and 3 pellets. Get some loose powder, start at 80gr and pick a projectile to try out. 80gr T7 loose and a 295gr powerbelt seems like an accurate load in these.

Muzzleloading Shotgun?
Hello my friends.
I've been having an itch for a muzzleloading shotgun but for the life of me I can not find one of a realtively inexpensive price.
What I'm looking for is either a 20ga. or 12ga. single barrel "doubble barrel is nice but I'm trying to keep cost down due to the times right now" & ...

The very first thing I would do is attend a few matches and see what others are using.
Your going to need one or two revolvers a scatter gun and a rifle. Have fun. Don't forget lots of hay for the oat burner.

You can try but I kinda doubt it. They fly great out of my 1x48`s but don`t fly well out of either of the 1x28`s.
