We've received our JVC 200, we've got the PL adapter... now we just need a PL lens. eBay currently has a few high-end models, we're looking for something to just get rolling. Please send me a PM.

Hello, I have in my possession an Anton Bauer Digital Trimpac 14 battery. While it states that it is rated for 14.4 volts, it meters at 15.6 (and that is what the camera displays as well). We are concerned that there could be issues as we've read the camera wants 13.2? We've also noted the JVC preferred accessory battery is the Dionic series, which is also rated at 14.4 volts......

I shot this musicvideo from the Dutch folksinger "Wesley" using the JVC HD101e in 720 25p. I only use the stocklens and edit it in Final cut pro. YouTube - Wesley - Ik voel me echt te gek www.redgelmedia.nl

Hi Tim. Are you allowed to comment (in this pre-release period) on whether ClipWrap has a function similar to MPEG Streamclip's "Fix Timecode Breaks"? On occasion, I've received .m2t files (captured by another with DVHSCap) which contain a number of clips (and therefore timecode breaks) in the one .m2t file. Not a problem for MPEG Streamclip (but only if you wanted to transcode, of ...

Has anyone tried the Letus 35? The Extreme seems like a good product for the price. Lots of cool options offered. Letus Adapters*::*LetusDirect If you have one, How is it? Pros, Cons? How much did the entire package cost? Thanks, James

Hi, according to Tim's DVD wich is very great for understanding all the JVC features, i've made some adjustments and i'm happy to share some of my results. Here are some frame grabs and a short capture showing difference between 0,3 and 9dB. I've never reached that quality before ! http://www.tophos.com/images/hd200/n...k/0dbCheck. tga http://www.tophos.com/images/hd200/n...

hi Rob, sorry i missed your question. That's the problem: i'm not getting clean sound, i've to raise the audio gain very high so i also get a lot of noise. I've already bought another mic : Audio technika atm33a wich is a very good mic but the problem is the same: i've to boost the volume and noise is coming onboard. So i've to use a denoiser plugin heavily on post. I don't think it's ...

I am a little confused here. I only have the standard batteries that came with the camera (those itsy bitsy sucky bricks) The only times I have used them have been in HDV mode...which as you all know, they last but like nothing minutes. The other day I decided to play with the camera in DV mode and forgot to turn the camera off...an hour later I came back and I was amazed to see the ...

I tried searching on the forums for this one, but came up empty. If I'm shooting HDV 720p, is the audio that comes out of the "line-out" jack uncompressed, or is it the MPEG-layer audio that is recorded to HDV tape? I'm thinking about connecting my Zoom H2 to this port, so I can have dual system sound and an uncompressed master to go with my HDV audio. Will this work? Also, has ...

The lower and closer to your body, the better. Helps you control the camera more with your body and less with your arms. There are MANY types of shooting that wont allow for a tripos or mono pod, like the reality stuff Im doing for MTV tomorrow. all run and gun. I would be toast without my Rails and handles.

I am doing a project--an internet action series with short epsisodes--that I am going to shoot using both a Canon XH-A1 and a JVC HD100 (with the 13.5 wide angle lens.) Besides the original internet version, I want to have video that will look good on DVD--first, standard def, and then later maybe Blueray. To ease editing, I would like to use the JVC format, using native JVC footage ...
