Hey, I have been using XL2 since over a half year back but I must say that I really become in love when using it together with the 3x. This is just a little test done with it. MÄNSKOHAMN (please view it fullscreen) Happy viewing. And for the ones trying to decide if 3x is worth the bucks, download the good 962x542 version.

Has anybody had any problems with the front lens element coming loose? I was cleaning my lens and it popped out! Now it is just loose and rattles around. Does not effect image quality, but I am affraid to use it now. Anybody know if this is a possible DIY fix?

Hey, I have been using the 16x manual since a half a year back. Well I always thought that the focus was spot on, since I made it through a resolution chart over and over again on a production monitor. But after the last adjustment, things haven't really looked that sharp, and the dof (that blurry out of focus) have been looking rather bad. So I readjusted it again today with huge ...

I'm about to buy a used XL2. I've read about problems with the transport, but I don't recall if that was on early production models, and if so, how to check for it. Any specifics are appreciated, as well as any other areas to check. The camera will be used to shoot SD footage in both 4:3 and 16:9 formats. Thanks for the help.

I live near London Heathrow Airport. Can anyone advise the best way of getting my XL2 serviced?

Whatever Dvd player they are using to play your Dvd back is setup for a widescreen TV. The setup menu on their Dvd player can be changed for a regular 4:3 Tv and then it will add the black bars in for you and you'll get that extra resolution. Your Dvd's are fine, their Dvd player just needs adjusted.
