I was hoping that magic-music woman would turn out to be like a battery for Peter, her light re-energises him, but I guess not? I do wish (the whole show) had gone down the route of having the characters rely on each other and having to work as a team powers-wise.

Sound lame this year if those are the only "celebrities" they can drum up. I'll probably watch a little at the beginning and then not bother. I'm sure any funny bits will be on youtube.

To be fiar if the studio demands a rewrite or reshoot on a pilot there is very little a showrunner can do, you eaither do it to get the show on air, you fight it and the show dies or you walk away and the show dies. But I agree with your other points the show was boring save for one or two episodes, it was a chore to work through, I haven't seen any of S2 yet but can't imagine that it is much better.
