Will this be a pointless purchase on blu-ray? Does it really warrant hi-def viewing?

I finally saw this film on Sky TV the other day and thought that it was very realistic and well made. The hammer torture scene was terrible but had to be included, I suppose. For the first time ever I liked Leo Caprico's acting. Just two queries. What are we supposed to understand from that final scene? I got the fact that the Caprico character chooses to stay behind in Jordan but if so: -Having resigned (I assume), will he be now on the...

This is a quick reaction piece due to the fact that I have got a zillion things to do right now, but I saw 24 minutes of Avatar today (in 3D) and I have to talk about it.
It's damn good looking. Design-wise the world of Pandora is excellent, rich, complex and detailed. It's a ...

Really looking forward to this and hope this will get Kelly back on track after the Southland Tales debacle. The Matheson story was already adapted once for an excellent Twilight Zone episode.
I love the way this looks like a 70's De Palma film. The cinematography is very reminscent of Obsession and The Fury.

I vaguely recalled the title Paranormal Activity and looked it up. It seems like a very well made low-budget horror-thriller. It seems to be rating 9/10 on IMDB even though there are only 132 votes. Films with very few votes but a very high IMDB score often tend to be really good. So I'll add my voice to the others on this thread - where the hell is it and why is it not out on DVD?...

Only Westerners who have been forever corrupted by our absurd "everyone's a paedo" culture find the bath scene worrying. Bathing is more of a communal thing in Japan than over here, and seeing as the mother isn't at home it would be the norm for the father to join his children.

I watched that one of his recently, Driven To Kill, and it was of course a bit **** but it did actually look like him doing the action scenes in this one! There a few moments of action which were enjoyable and he still has his speed but boy does Seagal look puffy, it's like he can't be arsed. His whispering was even worse than usual in this
I honestly don't know why i continue to watch ...

Scheitzen! I like the Bourne films and Paul Greengrass is my favourite contemporary director. Hope they make up whatever differences exist.

Saw the trailer before Gamer and it definitely peaked my interest. Does seem as though Gerard Butler is in a loop of 'man on a mission' films though!
