Yay, did the upgarde last night and have been using it today without any probs. There were a few app crashes, but the second time round fixed them. The battery was used up really quickly though. Not sure whether it's coz I was downloading so much stuff from the app store. Thanks for all the help guys!

you may be able to answer a question Pablo. I know bbc iplayer loads but doesnt display the flash videos (yet). however on some programmes you get an option for download for media players.. does this show up on the Touch HD? for example here, http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode...s_2_Episode_5/

To be honest there's not a lot of point in jailbreaking any more. Now we have the app store it's kind of removed the need for it. There's nothing much on cydia that isn't represented on the app store....

So, without me reading the whole of this thread, is there a good guide anywhere on the benefits of jailbreaking, the cons of doing it, and how to do it? Ta

Thanks for the response but no joy, it just repeats the keys no matter how fast you press the keys. The only way to get the "P" is to press and hold the "*" Key. The code from your post appears to be a Nokia Code but O2 tell me they had to request the Code from Samsung, and it took them over a month!!. Will have to drop them a note to query.

Ok, just to satisfy my curiousity I have done the following. Using a Samsung D900 I got it into insert sim mode and tried to get a "W" to appear, get exactly the same results as you. Tried doing the same with a Nokia and the * key press method works. So I reckon they have given you a Nokia code

I have a Samsung U800 Soul for which I have received an unlocking code from O2. The code begins with "#pw" But how do you get a "W" the phone is in "Insert SIM" Mode as instructed, they also state to push the * or # keys multiple times but that just repeats the key, and whilst I get a "P" holding down the * Key I can't get a "W" from anywhere. Anyone any idea? Thx Steve
