I have a Pure Tempus and it works really well! http://www.pure.com/products/product...tegory=Bedr oom You can have multiple alarms, set an alarm just for weekdays or weekends, every other day etc... It also has a snooze handle so you just have to tap the handle for an extra 10 mins sleep! They are about £90 though...

I wouldn't bother tbh. I had it since day one and soon got fed up with the upscaled guff and endless repeats. The quality is OK, but not really approaching proper Blu-Ray status. I cancelled the sub last year, but still watch a few things on C4 and BBC HD (free to view) if the equivalent program is on, mainly because I can.

For true surround sound you will have to buy an Amp to do the decoding & then add the speakers. you can get all in one packages, but if you have speakers "spare" then separate amp, & change the speakers later would be my choice

Our sky engineer left us the telephone wire reel so that we could do this ourselves. This way, we can put it under carpets or tack it to the skirting board where we wanted to put it. It runs from an upstairs bedroom and down to the telephone socket in the lounge.

I was able to take advantage of a free HD box without taking Sky Movies. We already subscribe to Sky Sports 1 and they said that I could have the free box because of this. So, as long as you subscribe to one of the sports or one of the movie channels then you will get the free box.

If you buy a Virgin Box of ebay its likely to be dodgy. You never own the Virgin boxes they remain the property of Virgin. Edit, unless things have changed.

The G15 is thinner, but apart from that the only difference does seem to be the additional hdmi input as you mentioned; both use the same G12 progressive Full-HD Neo panel. I personally don't think that is worth the extra over the G10. The TXP46G10 (46") model is available for £749.99 from Dixons until the 19th November. Robert

I purchased an LG 42" Plasma TV some 5 years ago now and had no problems until this last week. Its causing problems and coming to the end of its life I guess. It seems to be "phasing" not all of the pixels are showing and turning white so a mix of proper colour and white. This fixes itself after a few seconds but continues onwards for half hour plus making TV difficult to watch. After ...

You only need a local aerial installer to visit her if the dish is no longer pointing in the right direction, or the cabling or LNB is damaged. Which by the sound of things you have no reason to suspect is the case. The cheapest (best value) Freesat HD box listed on Freesat's own website is the Bush one at just under seventy quid. There are a few second hand Sky HD boxes listed on ebay for a...

You have to subscribe to a channel to be able to record it and view it so if you tape something off the movie channels but then cancel them you will not be able to view the film back.
