Thanks ladies. It's been a frustrating day so far. The girls are having a hard time listening and doing what they are told and my DH is waiting for Fed Ex to drop off some materials that he needs for work today that should have been dropped off 3 hours ago. Ugh! Homeschooling is done for the day, the bill has been paid, and my DH brought lunch home since he was waiting for Fed Ex. Still need to do laundry, go to the library, and get my...

Here's how I did today. Overall, I'm quite happy with how the day went. I got in 80 minutes of exercise for 4 APs and I "only" ate 27 POINTS . No one expects you to be a perfect WISHer with all the stuff you've gone through these past couple weeks! So give yourself a break, woman! I hope everything is getting back to normal, I think some of the feelings Dan is having are expected. We always look back and try to think of ways that we could have prevented these things from happening. I'm sure it's part of his grieving process and he will eventually come to terms with it...

This will be my last time checking in for a little bit. I'll be back next week. My son (15yo) and I are doing Disney this week, and we head out tomorrow. This has become an annual tradition for us - this is probably our 4th year now at Thanksgiving? Anyway - food choices, plenty of activity and planning ahead - all important pieces of the puzzle. I'll let you know how I did when I get back. Last night, I also started week 6 of the...

7 mile run this morning, a bit sluggish but finished in 1:22. WEight was back up to 177, I know I am dehydrated as I have not been drinking nearly enough water. I have such trouble on the weekends, but during the week at work I have no problem getting all the water in. 5 weeks until vacation-hoping I can get down to the 160's by then. It would help a lot with clothes, though all my shorts from last trip fit with room to spare . I have...

Thanksgiving was great! We had my DBro and family down for a few days. DMom, DAunt, DBIL, DH and all 4 children were also around for Thanksgiving. It was nice to have room to entertain. In fact, I think we stayed in the new kitchen/dining more than we have in the past. The openness of the room really worked well for socializing as a larger group. Much better than having everyone split off into various small rooms. The day before, DH and I were...

Thank you ladies for sticking with me. Amy - V8 Fusion. I have been looking at those but hadn't known anyone who had tried one. Now that I do, I am going to pick a couple up. Thanks Tracy - thanks for the well wishes on our trip. Amy - I did my 10 miles in exactly 120 minutes which works out to 12 minute miles. How I did that, I have no idea. I have been averaging about 13.25 minute miles. I was having a good day and really moving. Clif...

Thankfully, we got away from FIL's without leftovers (although DH would like to roast a turkey at some point in the next few weeks...) I managed not to eat the potatoes or stuffing again, but was out of ketosis due to a little cranberry sauce and fat in the greenbeans (cooked with bacon) and a spot of gravy. I was down 1 to 158 this morning despite being out of ketosis. Veronica - I wish you the best to get into your warm weather clothing...

Well, not my best day eating wise, but I did get 2 APs in a little while ago. I had to guess on some of my points today, but I figure I have 5 of my WPA left for my week, which luckily ends on Wednesday. I'm hoping to lose two full pounds, but I'll take anything.

I found you!! I like the new journal, I think it's great that you started one. New book at WW, new journal here, it all makes sense! You are going to do great this year, I know it! Focus on the positive and don't look back. Only worry about things you can control and surround yourself with people who make you feel good.

So it occured to me that if someone is reading this, they won't know much about me or the journey I'm on, so I should probably give the backstory..... I am 38 years old, wife, mother of one 9 yo girl . I work full time as a dental hygienist. I have struggled with my weight since high school, finally reaching my highest weight in 2006 at 219 lbs. Boy just looking at that makes me . In 2007, ...

Day 2: I succeeded in giving myself the shot without too much squeamishness this morning. I'm not going to pretend that I don't like needles, but I was brave. Whoo! I just played with the Wii for an hour-bowling and tennis. I got 193 on bowling. I don't think I've ever scored that high in real or Wii bowling! Tennis, I'm decent at-I can hit the ball, it just goes out most of the time. I don't think I won any games =(
