Private Villa
Published (2008-11-28 08:24:00)
There are certainly no shortage of villas for rent in that area, more than there are people needing them I would say so you won't have any problems. We have rented private villas now for the last 3 holidays and have 3 booked for our next ones. The site we use is http://www.orlandovillas.com/ All the villas are private owned and you deal direct with the owner. Happy Hunting

Quietest Resort Xmas Day
Published (2008-11-28 05:38:00)
I think Deb has given some good advice there. Either avoid the parks completely on Christmas Day or head to a park that can absorb the crowds, i.e. Epcot I think it's fair to say that ALL the parks will be busy on Christmas Day - personally, I would be tempted to spend some time enjoying the resort or taking it easy - try to factor in a 'rest day' to coincide with Christmas Day. If you really want to be in the parks, for the...

DDP - what's included?

I've seen threads regarding the ADR but didn't have a clue where to start and this put me off. Now with your links I can see exactly where all the restaurants are and this will help me with the planning. Hope we can add it now.

Best Age to take children to WDW
Published (2008-11-28 07:41:00)
first trip our boys were 3 and just 5, this year 4 and just 6. 3 was a great age - he was into things like Pooh Bear, and Disney channel characters. Character breakfasts with the baby Einsteins was a huge hit. This year he was out of all that - roll on the Power Rangers and he was over 40" so he could do some rides that he was wanting to. I wouldnt wait until my kids were 6+, theres nothing like seeing the innicet magic on your toddlers...

Confused this morning
Published (2008-11-28 09:34:00)
Have received allsorts of wierd and wacky invoices from Virgin over the last few years, takes them weeks sometimes months to send a correct one out, especially after an amendment. I think we did get one after a holiday with £0 balance on, cannot explain why and to be honest it would have too much hard work to ask them.

Best Age to take children to WDW

I took my DD when she was 5 and she enjoyed it., still liked meeting the characters and lots she could ride. This year at 6 she could ride everything apart from Rock N Roller Coaster. We took DD when she was 3 to DLP and I don't think she would of coped with WDW then and DLP had everything she needed(Minnie Mouse)

We did it with Hollywood & Vine but we didn't rate it that much I thought the 50's Prime Time was better and good fun.

We're packed, the animals are moved, I've run out of planning. We go tomorrow (Tues), but tonight to the B&B near Gatwick. Got so frustrated at nothing to do for it i made some large lime green luggage tags with our info on to help identify the bags in a sea of black cases....... Even double-sided them and laminated them, chose different colour ribbon for each one.... sad. Looking ...

I have been told by friends who are just back from Disney that you are now not allowed to take your own photos, when the kids are getting autographs with the characters. We were over in April and had no problem. However luckily back over again for Xmas and want to know if this is true. Anyone out there able to shed any light on this disturbing "rumour" ? Thanks Gary

For those of you with a Virgin VBox, I came across something last night that may be of interest to you. (I apologize if this has alread been posted about). If you go onto main page, then 'More on demand' then 'Showcase' you will see 'Disney Travel' I had a little look through last night and the programme; ' Fact or Fiction' was really interesting. It showed all the underground Tunnels below ...

Got back yesterday after 2 fun packed weeks in orlando. Really dont want to be home. It was a great trip with lots of highlights. flight with virgin were unremarkable, small delay both trips but nothing too traumatic. Stayed at the swan, fantastic location was great being able to walk to the parks, but i do understand when people say about it being a convention hotel, there was just ...

Hi, We were lucky enough to be able to try Virgin Upper Class on our last trip, it was fab but the only problem is I'm now hooked! Before I flew I was really wanting to see pics of the Clubhouse and Plane to help me get excited. Therefore I thought I'd take some to share with anyone else who may be flying in Upper soon. Here's the Clubhouse: And the clubhouse menu ...
