When they asked me that question, I said, "Um.. we're coming on the anniversary of my mom's passing, so I guess we're celebrating not being at home miserable and sad. Uh, how 'bout we just say 'life'?" She didn't know quite what to say... I really didn't either, obviously.

Harry Potter turned into classic I guess, like MIB, people still stand in line for the ride even so I think ride is so so but the walk to the ride is amazing. I am sure HPW will be great, but honestly I will not specifically make a trip for that, I will just include Universal in my Disney plans. As for Dumbo, fairies and so, cannot care less, we do not do it now, and we will not do it later. I think even so it is classic, it is girls oriented...

Kids are getting older
Published (2009-11-07 20:36:00)
My DS13 and DS15 still get a kick out of character meals. They also enjoy going to Epcot and just hanging out in the evenings. In the summer, they want to bring a couple friends who have not experienced Disney World to go on all the rides they love. They still want to do a character meal with them, too, though, just so they can have some laughs. My older one likes all the rides like ToT and RnRC. Everest, too. It's hard to not get caught...

If it is a room only they don't send anything. If it is a package they start to send them out around 45 days.

You should just run up the street to Walgreens the day after Halloween when they have all the leftovers for 75% off. When we have gone to the parties, we have worried more about seeing the special activities than the candy. We always go to the candy spots, but do not worry too much about what we get.

I was staying at an off site hotel for a conference on Thursday and took a cab to Epcot. The poor cab driver had to pay $14 just to get me to the gate and drop me off. He was NOT happy. The cab fare was $24 but I felt sorry for him and tipped him well!

I'm there one week everytime I go down to Florida, and we have always gone to US for one day. I think it is worth it, but really depends on if you like more extreme rides? I think it's a nice alternative then the Disney parks everyday. Hope this helps..

The days between Christmas and New Years are the busiest of the year at WDW. Think Spring Break on steroids.

Don't see why not. Just make sure you have an aircard since WDW does not offer WiFi in the parks.

When we go to WDW we are always on a fairly tight budget, but our weakness is the hard ticket parties. We went the Pirate & Princess Party in May 2008, and are going to MVMCP in just over 3 weeks. We can't wait!!!

I don't smoke, but my mom does. We have found that it is very easy to find the smoking areas at both the resorts and the parks. They are marked on the maps so you shouldn't have any problems.
