Yes, make sure it's in-house. I've talked to the central line Hojo people and they have no idea what the entertainment rate is. You need to show the Hojo front desk when you check in the entertainment card. It comes with the entertainment book that is sold in your area.

Deb: I just wanted to tell you that I am very very sorry for your loss. Please take care of yourself--I know you will. Ladies: I spoke with Sally today and as expected she is beside herself. She said to me: "I've buried my Father, buried my Brother, but I never expected to bury my Child." It was heartbreaking. She did say that she preferred I wait and come to the ceremony on South Padre on the 20th because there were so...

That was so nice Cristabel! You know sometimes with all the stress of the economy and everything else it is easy to get wrapped up in what seems WRONG in life but when things like this happen with Dawn it REALLY makes you stop and think about how lucky we REALLY are! Well ladies, I'm almost done at work for the day and once I get home I'll start preparing our dinner for tomorrow. I'm hoping to get all my baking done tonight and just the dinner fixins for tomorrow. I know we all have so much to be thankful for. After this past week I've thought a lot about memories I've made with my friends and family. As difficult as the Holidays are without my sister and her family here, I still...

The Bengal BBQ has beef and chicken skewers right in front of the Indiana Jones that are soo good! We get one every time we go to Disneyland.
The gumbo bread bowl by Pirates of the Carribean is also really good. Had that for the first time last trip and can't wait to try it again.
As far as little snacks, I'd have to say the classic churros and the jalepeno cheese filled pretzels are ...

The location is excellent! The DVC resort is attached to the Grand Californian Resort which has its own private entrance to the Californaia Adventure Park. You will be only a few steps away from DisneyLand, Californai Adventure and Downtown Disney.
I will move this thread to the Disneyland Forum - those folks will have lots of ideas and information for you.

Other than that you could keep an eye on eBay. I bought a DLP map that way.

Thanks for posting this! I'll be in the Park in a little over a week & had no idea that they're offering discounts on merchandise for AP'ers! The Cheshire Cat mug sounds super-cute! Did they by any chance have an Alice tea set (with a teapot & cups)?

I think you should just decide if you want to stay on property or not and go with it.
If you search and search, you will find all sorts of great hotel deals. Some include X, but not Y. Some include X, Y AND Z, but not A. Some cost more, others less. Decide what's important to you ($, view, location, or.....???) and go from there.
On a personal note, I don't know if you travel often....

Well, given the free entry on your birthday, I wouldn't be surprised to see a far greater number than usual there on their actual birthday. When I went on my birthday, they had run out of birthday pins, so I just got a celebrating pin.
I think if you are there for your birthday trip, even if it's not your actual birthday, you can wear the pin with pride
