nope, not an option....the only possible reschedule day would be Thursday before we leave for the ship...but i don't know if I could reschedule the hair and make up. The bridal portrait coordinator said it's basically up to us what to do....we can call and cancel, or go ahead with it and hope for the best. right now we're just hoping for NO RAIN!!!!

Were having a 2.5 week wedding/honeymoon. From 11/18/10-12/4/10 NOT in Disney world though, we live in Miami and go there wayyyy too much. Were having our wedding on Castaway Cay, on the Disney Wonder. The ship sails November 18, 2010 (mickey's bday) and returns November 21, 2010. Then we have that whole week off from work to either stay in the Orlando area, or go back home for a few days and relax, probably do things around our new...

i have never been a bride only bridesmaid and remembered what my BFF and i did before to save a bit for the wedding. we did the centerpiece for the table set-ups and the decorations and draperies in the reception. we also did the wedding invitation ourselves 3 months before the wedding and it took as almost a month to finish it. it was quite exhausting but we have been so proud with the outcome. my bff was very happy seeing her personal touch...

Hey Everyone, I was just curious as to how far in advance everyone sent out their wedding invitations. I can't seem to find what the rule is for destination weddings. We were thinking of sending them shortly after we have our Planning Session, which would be around 4 months before the wedding. How long do you give guests to RSVP? Thanks so much!

Hey! I'm a December 2009 bride!!!!
I agree- having a wedding during December and Christmastime is SO exciting! Amazingly enough I have never been to Disney during Christmas so I am super excited about that!! I am also doing an escape wedding at Sea Breeze Point!! What date are you hoping for?

I too am doing a VR on DCL (on the Wonder) in September. I am so excited and can't wait for it to hurry and get here. Looks like you are a little ways before me (we have 165 days until we cruise). We did the Grand 1 for the Wishes. The view is great. You are dead smack in the middle of the lake in front of the train station. They pump in the music from the park so you get the full affect. It was fun but nothing beats our dessert party! Our guest still talk about it and it was 2 years ago now. Time flies.

Have you asked your bridal store? I know when I bought my dress they offered me several types of girdles to try with it, but I got lucky that my dress is a corset style and whether I wore a girdle or not it looked the same. So I'll be only wearing undies under my dress, nothing else The corset style really helps lift the girls and that was my only worry with a wedding dress.

For Sago Cay the F&B min is $500, music is $500, small party fee is $50 (19 & under I think), don't forget tax and service charge on top. The Marina is generally for larger parties I think. Do you want table decorations?
