"Free" dining is only offered to guests booking through CRO and paying full price for a room and park tickets package. No free lunch lol.....

Waitlists most often come through at the 31 day mark since if someone is going to cancel this is the last day they can cancel without their points going into a holding account. As for the point situation, if you already borrowed all your 09 Oct UY points your options are to: 1) Rent points from another member 2) Pay another member for the points and have them transfer into your account 3) Pay cash for the nights needed.

Free dining is available only to those booking a room/tickets package through CRO. DVC members who are otherwise eligible can book the packages and pay for them - you don't HAVE to use your points to stay at WDW - but you can't stay on DVC points and get free dining.

We usually like to freeze a couple of dishes to bring with us ( lasagna, BBQ brisket, etc) when we stay in condos on other vacations. I need grocery delivery for our trip in Dec. My problem is I think that garden grocer is very expensive. I am not sure exactly how to use WEGOSHOP. Basically I want to purchase breakfast foods, coke, water, juice and fruit. The fruit is want is killing me. I would never pay $1.19 for an apple or $7.00 for grapes. If I went with wegoshop, where should I tell them to shop? I am from Canada, so...

Any way in speeding up the process to receiving our member id#? Is there a phone # I can call to ask if we are officially in the system yet? Our broker emailed us that we closed a week ago. Ok, I know you can buy the DDP when you use DVC points for a stay, but can you also participate in free dining? Or no? DH and I just bought BLT points and are considering going in September for a short trip. Free dining would be a nice perk, so I figured I'd ask!

Hi, I am planning our first trip to the World for DH, DS (6) & myself. We've been chewing on the idea of purchasing the Dining Plan but don't know if it is worth it. We are staying in an AKV studio for 10 days. I know we don't have a full kitchen so no major meals in the room. For DVC members going to WDW at anytime during Christmas Week or early January from Chicago on Southwest Airlines, go now to the Southwest site and see if your price has changed. Just checked (we have a Dec 30 flight there) and made change (kept same flights and times) because price has dived about 33% from what we reserved just a few weeks ago. Don't know about other times or departing places.
