We found that the TE takeout pizza is quite a bit better if you tell them to cook it "well done" - otherwise it has a tendency to be kinda soggy. We really like the chicken too - both taste and cost-wise.

best loops for class A RV

Depending on how busy the Fort is when you are staying there - at busy times pets can be on any loop. The only time we had problems fitting into sites was when we had a 45' MH & a 40' MH. Now we have a 32' Itasca & there is practically no site in FtW we can't fit into. Beware of 500. There are some sites that even though you can get into easily, I would NOT want them - unless you don't mind being on top...

? about dining at the Fort

The couple times we've eaten at TE we have gone without an ADR. Our wait has been around 20 minutes, although I've seen the place with no waits at times as well. During spring break, an ADR would certainly be nice but I would think you could walk up if you don't mind waiting on the porch a bit. There are some picnic tables on the side porch, as well as down by the beach, if you opt to get take out. Last month we grabbed the...

For me, it's the most relaxing place in the "World". Any other time at WDW, I'm just in a hotel, so have to get out and go. At the Fort, I spend lots more time at the Fort and really just chill out.

best loops for class A RV

If you have no pets I would avoid the 300 and 500 loops. They are for campers with pets. They asked us, upon check in, if we had pets and we told them NO. Still we were put in the 500 loop. It was a great site with good neighbors but far too many people do NOT clean up after their dogs. I saw some let their dogs "rest" beside the trees on our site but were gone before I could "get to them". Try to avoid...

Well, Dan, let's look on the bright side. Even though it was cold at the Fort, you were still at the Fort. It's 16 degrees this morning in PA - the double whammy: woke up really cold and woke up in PA.
Also, the crowd was down at the movie, and they picked an appropriate movie for the weather.
The way I see it, you're a lot better off than I am right now.

There is a group camping area that lots of Scouts use. It is $10 per person, per night. There is a bath house in the area, fire pits, and picnic tables. There is no electric except at the bath house.
Also, I have seen Scout troops that tent camp in Loop 2000 quite a bit. You can have up to 10 people per site, but can only have 2 tents per site. I've seen them set up with a "dining" site...

I can't offer much in the popup set up, though I know there are RV rental services that set up for FW campers, I think you have to add their name(s) to your site occupancy so they have the privilidge to enter the Campground.
but for your question re: internal buses, yes they run regular and often.
we stayed in the 2000 loop our 1st time there and although we didn't go to the pool or ...

At first we chose the Fort because it was an inexpensive way to visit WDW and stay "inside" with all the resort privileges and be close to the parks. Now we sometimes go just to camp. We have camped up and down the eastern USA from Maine to Florida and consider the Fort the best campground in the universe (in our opinion). Sure its gotten more expensive and some of the privacy feeling is ...

For the right price I'll swing by with some take out!
No room service to the cabins that I am aware of. Although I hear that the Mayor was looking into a Kungaloosh room service delivery option for frequent fliers.

South of the border
Rv, camping, amusement, gift shops, some of everything, etc.
Just look for the 13 billion billboards on the way down.
Or look for the 100 foot tall Mexican sombrero.

The Fort is an "experience" all its own. The decorated sites, the campfire and movie as well as the "friendliness" of the other people there. You also have the electric water parade that you can watch from the beach and even catch most of the fireworks from the MK (they pipe the music in).. You don't have to use the bus to go the MK you can take the FW bus to the Settlement Outpost to catch the ...

I don't know what's official, but we've been here since the 13th and have seen a lot of them. Several evenings have been too warm to make them effective, but it's supposed to be in the low 30's at night for a week or so starting tomorrow.

It depends. If you are going to spending lots of time at the campground using the services and amenities and activities there, then a golf cart is most helpful to get to the pool, get to the campfire and movie, go looping an exploring, etc.
If you are going to be spending lots of time at the parks, then a golf cart is just a luxury. There are internal buses that run throughout the ...

4 HOURS?!?!??! Forget it. There isn't a single ride at any theme park anywhere in the world that's worth waiting in a line for 4 hours. I'm afraid I'd have to head back to FW, pop open an ice-cold adult beverage, and start looping.
