I think as a radio announcer, he did his job very well. I wouldn't argue agianst that at all. I simply didn't care for him on TV. It's funny, I've seen ESPN lately try telecasting some older fights and lay over the radio broadcast with it. Obviously by what I have said here, that I didn't particularly care for this, as agian, I can SEE what is happening. I do not need a Radio announcer telling me what my eyes are...

Wow, Bute stops Andrade in 4. He ran around and grabbed for a bit, but then nailed Andrade with a left to the head as Librado was coming in, and dropped him. He then finished him with a left to the body. I don't care for his style, but at least he sat down on his punches and landed some meaningful knockout blows. The guy can punch but he fights like a startled faun at times. But it sure worked tonight. Tough matchup for anyone because he...

At least these fights are being shown on Versus on a Wednesday night where they belong... Not that anyone seriously cares, but in that car-accident curiousity does anyone feel like there's a chance of an upset on here that will foil their stale showdown? I don't know anything about Ornelas but Green has enough pop, chin & stamina to create some problems for an old RJJ.

[quote=PD99] Floyd can duck, dodge and weave his way from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or perhaps even 4th punch in any given Pac salvo but rest assured, there will be another on it's way. QUOTE] Thats the part of the fight that interests me. Floyd is great at avoiding a punch, but can he avoid 5 in a row? On the other hand, pac is vulnerable when tossing out those 4-5 punch combinations and if anyone can counter in between those punches, its floyd.

In the UK sports fans who read the sports pages of news papers might vaguely recognize their names, but zero of their fights have ever been played on mainstream terrestrial TV and the ones broadcast on overpriced subscription-based Sky are never promoted. So essentially you have to be a serious boxing fan to know them - no one talks much about Lewis-Klitscho as Lewis's entire career was ...

As for the main event, after that atrocious decision, all I have to say is if Andrade hopes to win, he better get in gear early, be prepared to be rough and keep a fast pace, because I have zero confidence that the judges will be fair to him, or that the ref will be hard on Bute for grabbing incessantly. I hope I'm wrong. Bute has a very tough style to do all that because he moves and throws ...

Easy win for Williams. Never been sold on Pavlik. He can punch and has a good jab and that's about it.

Diggity - Hard to argue with your analysis . Kessler should win . I saw the Ward-Miranda bout on TV in which Ward dominated. Calzaghe showed the blueprint to beat Kessler, speed , angles and flurries to upset Kessler's tempo. Ward will have to dictate the pace of the fight to win and outwork the sturdy Dane . Ward cannot win if he is going backwards . Should be a good fight !
