M41B Front Sight Hood

I have been trying to find the correct front sight hood for the M41B rifle. The correct hood is taller than the M96 version. Can anyone help point me in the right direction? Thanks, Sights

You have that backwards . The M-41b sniper hood is shorter than the standard M-96 hood . All the M-41b snipers that I have seen come from SAMCO Global , have the standard tall M-96 front sight hood . There are none taller than that . The short ones for the sniper are RARE & hard to find . One sold on Gunboards Swedish Military Forum for $50 recently . That is the only one I can recall being sold in many years . A very few sold on EBAY...

everyone knows a swede should be able to do one ragged hole at 600 yards in high winds without optics, if all it will do is 3 7/8" groups at 100yds you might as well just give it to me for proper disposal

Rifles that have been used in FSR (civilian marksmanship program) shooting events can be found with any number of modifications. I wouldn't worry about changing your rifle back just enjoy it as it is. I would be willing to bet that this rifle is an awsome shooter...Jim
