The concept of horror to me is similar to the psychological impact of a rollercoaster; you're lost in the terror of it that you forget that it's not real. Dropping to imminent demise forgetting that you're even strapped in. As far as gore and torture for the sake of filling some bloodthirst ... I don't quite watch it for that. Seems like there'd be some psychological foundation that goes on behind watching horror to...

I know he did make "HIS" own films like, "House Of 1000 Corpses", "The Devils Rejects" and "The Haunted World Of El Superbeasto". But see the difference that he did a couple of remakes of "Halloween 1 and 2", now this time its "The Blob". So at least some of his projects are remakes and the props of someone else that hes borrowed I think...

Its difficult. Horror meant more than movies in its prime. It was kicking the man and giving to the kids who wanted to have fun. Today, kids have seen and done everything at an early age. remakes are just adapting the idea to the date as to make it more relevant. They will never be as relevant as they once were.

While I'm not particularly a fan of the entire Franchise, the original A Nightmare on Elm Street is my favorite horror movie of all time. Though Wes Craven's New Nightmare and Dream Warriors (to a lesser extent) are solid sequels, nothing will match up to the first installment. And yes, I would enjoy seeing a remake because unlike some people, I think a remake has no effect on it's original...

Looks like fun. Plus it's in 3D, so that makes it potentially awesome. At least they didn't go 4D, where they would actually throw tires and car engines into the audience. That would have hurt repeat showings. Plus, it would be a pain to clean up afterwards.

I would've loved to have seen them get it right the first time around. When they fought it was fun, but the rest of the movie was so bad.

I don't find torture porn frightening at all. Personally, I have no problems with brutality in horror, but at least give it meaning.
