You don't have to accept the new terms. You can opt out. The instructions came with the notice. That won't affect any terms on balances you already have. You just won't ever be able to use the card again. That's their loss if you're a good customer. They can ASK any rate they want. You can take it or leave it. And guess what? They need us more than we need them. You don't have to have that credit card, but they...

It's always a red flag when someone wants dough for anything. When you go to the website, they don't post a street address (second red flag). From their legal section is this name & addy but it's desiganted as their "agent": Name: Roderick Moore Attn: DMCA Notice Genbook, Inc. 500 Third Street, Suite 210 San Francisco, California 94107 tel: (415) 227-9903 fax: (415) 227-9904 support@genbook.com I say run...

Is it actually Walmart or is it the check cashing approval service they use? In any case, do not give them your bank account info. You might try sending a letter requesting that they correct THEIR error and remove your husband's DL number from the bounced check record.

You knew the purchase price; you knew the loan amount and its interest rate. Unless you're hopelessly in debt, it's unlikely declaring bankruptcy would work. If you're that desperate, find some way to pay off the timeshare: heloc, credit card, personal loan, borrow from family. And then donate it. You'll still owe on the loan, but you'll have gotten rid of it and the yearly fee. Clark has said the best way is to...

Made the faulty assumption that "amount we owe" referred to maintenance, rather than a loan to pay for the timeshare.

Thanks, I recieved several quotes all in the same range as theirs. We went with them because, of the ones we had contacted, they seemed like they would do the best job - for example, make a "crate" for the TV. The alternative we were considering was Madson, which is a shipping company and not a moving company. They would have dropped off a container and we would have packed it ourselves and they would have come and picked it up the...

yes it is. Tell them instead if they sell it you will give them a percentage of the sale or a percentage of the rental. works in real estate why not timeshare? Freedom of speech means you might get upset by what is said, Get it over it. Ignorance is bliss, stop being blissful.

Unless this payment account is one that you've used before and it's stored in the goodys system, then it's most likely that you entered the account or routing number incorrectly. You should be able to check on that at the goodys site. If you're good customer with good track recored, they may forgive the error if you ask nicely. "Don't believe everything you...

MLM of overpriced and inferior financial products by poorly trained reps. The old AL Williams company reborn. Politely decline. Don't bother to argue, as he's all hyped up with the MLM crap, just say no. "Don't believe everything you think." Fuzz

You need to read the fine print of your agreement. The special offer was 0% then 6.99%. It didn't promise that rate forever. You got that rate now and in January the rate goes up. The agreement absolutely gives them the right to increase your interest rate anytime they want for whatever reason. 8.99% isn't a bad rate. Pay the account off in full every month ...

You paid it late; there's a late fee. And interest accrues once you're past the due date. You asked them to waive it; they said "no".

At the risk of sounding brutal...you weren't suckered, which implies making a purchase without full disclosure of all the facts. You knew what you were purchasing and now find yourself with buyer's remorse. While timeshare sales reps employ the same tactics as snake oil salesman with high pressure, etc., you went ahead and made the purchase. Remember...the ...

Hubby and I have moved via professional moving companies several times and have had only minor problems, which the companies took care of right away. One company was Atlas Van Lines. It's been awhile and cannot remember the other names. I guess I should be thankful that we have had positive experiences. Yours sounds like a nightmare. "Every now and then, I ...
