You know bears....one way to cut spending is to make Congress think twice about sending troops into a country that didn't do anything to us. Iraq wasn't cheap...but most of us only had to buy a "support our troops" sticker for the back of the SUV and we were good to go...some other suckers kid "volunteered" to go into the service. But....when it's everybody's kid that is running the risk of being sent...

Will Obama Veto Health Care...

If the final bill that comes out of the senate breaks any of Obamas pledges on health care, will (and should) he veto it? I say no, he was lying the whole time and will sign any piece of crap that comes across his desk. Health bills fail to block illegals from coverage The Big Tax Lie

In reply to: I agree.... (support the draft0 for everyone below the official poverty level. Aw, that harks back to the Vietnam era. Guess it's okay in your book to exclude the privileged from the draft. I'm sure you'd get the full support of cowardly evaders like GWB and Dick Cheney on that. (I was in the military, voluntarily, for most of the Vietnam era, Bear, so don't bother launching a counter attack on that issue)....

The new republican anthem -...

Funny song considering that the republicans have ran the country into the ground for the past 8 years. I guess you guys feel the job wasn't finished which is funny too considering that Afghanistan wasn't finished before we plowed our noses into Iraq. What a disaster the Republicans have been for this country recently. Everything that Obama is trying to bring to this country the Republicans had their chance at it would you not agree?...

Years ago, I met a nice lady who said she was going to an IRA meeting. When I raised my eyebrows, she explained she was a teacher and was going to an International Reading Association confab.

7 stories Barack Obama...
Published (2009-11-30 14:38:00)
This one just made me shiver with fright!!!!! 6.President Pelosi . . . . it is clear that Obama has allowed the speaker to become more nearly an equal and far from a subordinate than many of his predecessors of both parties would have thought wise.

Of course he won't veto it. He was lying thru his teeth when he told you illegal aliens would not get coverage. Congressman Wilson spoke the truth. PrezBO lied again and again. It could be a blank page just fine; he would then put in all manner of socialism desired via executive orders and/or bureau rats. Who is John Galt?

Why a firmer body? Will it make her more successful? Better liked? More popular? With most of those who worry about firmer bodies, one can apply a flashlight to one ear and see light emitting from the opposite ear canal.

Indeed the inconvenient truth about Algore is he is full of manure. But we knew that. Remember, "green" is the new red, as exemplified by dismissed communist "green jobs" czar Van Jones. The "climate change" stuff is a pack of lies being used to advance socialism. Since the globe is not warming they renamed it change. Before that, when acid rain wasn't, they ...

Why not keep the data? Because it does not support their desired conclusions, the ones upon which they base their dire predictions. They are not scientists at all but fraudsters. Real scientists never dump data. They use every bit they can get their hands on to find the truth. These enviro whackos are not interested in truth at all, so the data is no good if it...

I was wondering if anyone was going to report this. But you could have included a few important facts without clicking your link. For example, was Abed wanted for oh, maybe a PARKING TICKET? No, he was wanted because he was instrumental in the beheading, dragging through the streets, burning then hanging from that bridge, those four (former U.S. military) ...

The State dinner was billed as Hollywood meets Washington! Maybe our guy is looking to ditch the small screen and move his career into another direction by having Steven Spielberg in attendance. Should be expect a remake of Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, starring our great President? I'll probably wait for the DVD. [Sometimes I sits and thinks...sometimes ...
