I agree 100% with the OP. Mfg. homes and mobile homes go down in value. They are homes on wheels. Banks are in the right and considering these homes a huge risk. ------------ John Galt sank his ship and went down with his entire crew.

70 pounds is our limit. I do not know about the insurance rates, I haven't really shipped anything that I needed to worry about. I can understand how that could be a major thing for a company or someone who does a lot of e-bay. Thats where you would have to make choices. We are still a great value.

Mine is of the mobile home variety. However, the axles were removed and it is sitting on a permanent foundation. We also went through the legal work to have it made into real property, but that does not matter to banks, it seems.

Also look at the resale value of both vehicles, Honda is probably double of any of the domestics.

Count my wife and I as the seemingly small number of fans of the U.S. Postal Service. I think the U.S. Post Office is still one of the least expensive and most realiable in the world. We're big, big fans of the flat rate boxes and envelopes. We stuff them to the max and get great value for the dollar. Can't think of many instances we're metered mailing would have saved money. We find the staff at our small town P.O. helpful,...
