Potentially on the market for some wheels and I've stumbled across HREs line of Monoblock wheels. I've done some research and have had lots of helpful insight from the great guys at Wheel Enhancement ...but I'm still unsure. I really like the Textured black finish alone, but I feel it detracts a bit because there is no depth to the wheel and it loses its design visually. However it does add ...

I posted this under Winchester's thread but thought I should make it it's own. I spoke to the owner of RAC monolites who happens to be a friend and he mentioned if we could get a group of 15 people interested he could build the RS98s in 18"s for us. RAC is a partner of champion and champion actually builds the wheels for them. RAC mainly focuses on BMW but they have done wheels for Lotus, ...

on a set of 17" Cayman rims with an offset of 55 front and 40 rear? I finally took delivery on my new Ruby Red Cayman about a week ago and it looks like snow season is not far off. I got 18" wheels with the car, but I'd like 17" wheels and snow tires for the snow. My usual source got me some wheels and Hak R tires but the offset on the rims was wrong, so I'm back almost at where I started. I...

I see no current thread on this well discussed subject, but wanted to share the plan offered by my dealer, Leith, in Cary, NC. The plan is offered by NAS, and costs $649.00 for five years. Covers replacement, no cap, unlimited, for road damage, but not curbs. Tire must have 3/32s thread. Hope this info is helpful....

A few weeks ago I drove home after working all night. The temp was in the upper 20's and I hadn't had a chance to have my 19" summer wheels with Bridgestones swapped out with a new set of 18" CS wheels with Michelin Alpins. After skating along for 30 miles I got home and called to made an appointment to have the winter set installed. I found the 19" wheels to be just a touch on the rough ...

I'm going to be putting on my winter tires in the next couple of days. I'm wondering what the current thinking is for the proper way to store the summer tires. Laid flat or on the tread? Reason why one is better than the other?
