the one in the fuse box doesnt do anything to affect the fuel pump in my zed... if u pull the fuel pump relay it cuts fuel... or if your doing the compression test and simply want 2 stop the fuel from firing.. unplug the CAS plug

NPower Dumps power limitations???

Just seen your question in the DIDs thread Benny. The only real way to test the dumps is to measure the pressure drop (or lack of) across the turbine, that is the only way to be sure. A thermocouple pre tubine would also indicate an issue with very high heat, but that is expected with 28rs cores in stock housings anway so may not b a good idictaion.

ac compressor rear bolt- PITA
Published (2009-11-27 11:59:00)
yeah it was pretty easy in the end. Didnt have to remove any of the turbo pipes or anything. I had to remove the two compressor inlet n outlet hoses. I was trying to do it with these two hoses in place before. Remove them and its easy. Just need a spanner.

Replacing the plugs would be my first point of contact. I\'ve seen plugs to be the source of many a backfiring problem, as it doesn\'t take much to foul them.

Hi Guys, this might be a hard one. On a really hot day, after the car has warmed up to operating temps, you will hear a rattle coming from what sounds like underneath, while accelerating. This only happens on a hot day, and really only between 2-3thousand revs. It may be my imagination, but it feels under powered also. If anyone could give me an idea of whats wrong it would be much appreciated. ...

Ok... So i had Mick over today to help with a compression test. The fuse box on the left of the engine bay has a fuse on the right that should stop the fuel pump when pulled. Has anyone else come across this or if someone has bypassed the fuse box, why they ...

Yes, I have searched. But there is a lot of stuff to filter through. I just want opinions from people with first hand experience. Is it worth installing a clutch boost when converting a TT to manual? While I\'m at it, is it unwise to install a lightened flywheel? I have only read bad things... Cheers, Jono

I'm having issues putting anymore than 15-16psi out of my turbos and a few signs are pointing to the 2.5" 4 bolt bok-choy NPower dump pipes being the bottle neck. What i'd like is peoples personal experience on what maximum boost you have put through them, and what KW's achieved out of them. Cheers, Benny.
