Just got back from a great two week trip to Aruba. The water, beach and people are as nice as I remembered. We Stayed at the Costa Linda and it was a great beach and pool area. The rooms are nice and large although the furniture is a bit dated, it was very clean. They announced while we were there a multi year project to update all rooms including tile and counter tops. First time to Aruba, can't wait to go back next year. Divi All Inclusive was just great. Yes, it's older and a low rise and although full, was not crowded. It was very comfortable. This trip was summer vacation for dh, dd and I. We had been to the Tamarijn once previously over Christmas and New Year's 2008 with our entire family (parents, grandparent etc.) totaling 10 of us. All I can say is one week is not long enough! My family of 4 (mom, day and two adult children) along with my cousin and his family(same demographics checked in for a wonderful week! Happily, I FINALLY received the better center of the U unit (which all of us Vacation Club owners were sold) for the first time since 2002. It did take an international phone call from New York to Aruba three weeks in...
