When you evaluate the performance of another; do you try to consider the adversities they faced?

GM vs foreign.....drifting towards foreign. Have attempt to support/buy American made. Just returned from dealer.....no heater and winter upon us. Said motor was replaced at 50 thousand miles. And again less than 10 thou/2 yrs later. (Motor in box/ replaced made in Mexico any bearing?) That and the battery located in such a weird place/arrangment various repair people couldn't get the cables tighten and adapter/modfication...

They stopped making 101-key KBs over 10 years ago. The standard is the 104-key. Has been since Win95. An APC BackUPS.

I hate 2-door cars clambering over people to get in the back. If the Citroën 2-CV and Dyane could manage 4 doors (and a hatch) why can't everything?

Any sensible Scot would prefer things the way they are now: They get more money from us than we give to them, they can make their own laws and sit in our parliament but we can't sit on theirs and all the give and take is going one way as far as I can see. They get all the bonuses of self-governance without having to have a self-supporting economy. Why should they want independence?

Well, I developed a technique where I would not give any offense to the so-called hawks. Many of them have accents of another country. They are temps for the seasons and are just trying to do their job in selling their wares. That can be an embarrassing situation for the hawkers because they have to approach people in a way that they would not normally do but they have to earn a paycheck. I know that they have to be approach but sign language...
