Re: My camaro tach cluster-done! I wouldn't want the 145mph speedo to actually attempt to hit it, just thought it would be cool to have that speedo. You know some people would look at it, and say " Hey that truck is fast it has a 145mph speedo in it" There is a crew cab at the local Pull-A-Part that has a factory tach gauge set in it. I'm hoping to pick it up Saturday. Don't know if I will be using it, or just...

Re: Question about the rear? I hate to tell you to "search" but that's your best answer here. Spend some time in the suspension forum searching and reading. There are tons of posts there regarding 3 and 4 links. You will have to determine what style best fits your needs. Here's a good one to look at- LINK __________________ link < 77 Cheyenne meets Ramjet 350 Quote: By my friend Gordon- I may not be a good...

Edman87 Thanks for posting your work, which got me inspired to do the same. So, last weekend I managed to pull a Tachometer and fuel gauge from '85 (at least that's what JY markings were) Camaro, not a Z28, but V8 car. I took some side by side photos with my '75 fuel gauge. Questions 1) There are no visible markings on the PCB indicating which post is what (12volt...

My truck has lost power somewhere and its been a while since i tried to find out whats wrong. It doesnt have any check engine codes but lacks acceleration and responsiveness to the gas pedal. When I push on the pedal at any speed it sounds like the engine revs a little higher than its supposed to and especially if i let off the pedal after cruising at say 20 or 30 mph you can tell that it drops ...

Came today. Looks pretty solid. A few scratched on bracket, nothing a little rattle can will not fix. Came with brake hoses, ebrake and cables. Only issue is where rotor fits on axle flange will need to turned a bit to get it to go on, even the instructions say this. No big deal really. Will update when I get the kit on.

took it to the track for hte firs time in 5 years on friday night. ran a horrific 14.9 @ 86mph problem being, traction off the line, or should i say lack of traction then anything past about 4800rpms it fell flat as if it didn't have enough fuel. first gear was ok. was able to hit 5500 before it fell flat, though it was misfiring between 4800 and 5500 second gear it wouldn't...
