Factory Hubcaps on Oversized Wheels? I've been thinking about this for my 64. I'd really like to go back to chromed factory hubcaps, but would like to put them on some 17, 18, or 20's with WWW's. Anyone done this or have any suggestions as to which wheels might make good candidates? I'll be willing to attempt welding on the clips ...

Cheap 6 lug rear disc???? I have seen everyone making cheap kits work with impala parts etc but what can be done for the six luggers for cheaper. I can get the brackets, hoses and calipers for a metric car but what to do about rotors? I want discs all around but stay 6 lug and not spend 1200 on it. Front rotors alone are going to run ...

Well, I finally got her out on the road. This little monster has a bit of attitude when it comes to cruisin. She's got a bit of a lope at idle and when I've opened her up, she hammers down! I'm really happy with it. I took my Dad for a ride on Fathers Day, he had a smile ear to ear. It's really awesome opening it up with those truck arms underneath, the whole back end kind of lifts up and ...

Hey fella's, I am already lowered 8 in the rear with a static drop.. I have a standard style c notch already installed.(Similur to a cpp) It looks like I have about 3-4 more inches to go before I will bottom out. I am wanting to bag the rear for now, but I am having a hard time envisioning how low it will sit. I know that it will not lay frame or anything but I am wondering if its worth the money...

Alan Glad to see that you got some work, and it is not another miata...while looking at the pics, I was thinking the same thing about the doors, repops might be a better long term solution even though you can get these back in shape with your skills. 198plus Welcome to the board, your truck is in good hands. Hey guys. I have a 67 c10 but I am told the motor in it is a 60-66. It is the 292 inline 6. I installed HEI on it and set the timing at 8 points advanced. And adjusted the idle. It runs very smoothly and idles nice. However, when giving it gas I get a ticking noise from the engine. It sounds like the upper part of the engine. I assume I just need to tighten up the lifters??? Or adjust something ...

painted under the hood today, went to get new spark plugs for my 66, originally i was told this was a 250, but 230 is stamped on the block, did they just use the same block and no different stamp? next i had to run to the store several times to get the right plug, didnt have a good one to show them, i finally found the right one myself and it says it belongs to a 250 from a 1970-75 c10...
