Ryan is afraid of the wind. I thought it was going to be a great day, the temp is perfect and it wasn't windy in the morning. Well... We get to the pumkin patch and it's pretty breezy.
We were there for all of two mins and had to get back in the car and leave because we couldn't calm him down. I'm so bummed. I was looking forward to taking some great pics. :(

When to TTC? I'm willing to start as early as Aug 2009 for a baby that arrives when A is 3yrs2mths, or as late as Jan 2010 for a baby that arrives when A is 3 1/2 - 4. WWYD? Pros & cons? More time to save money & pay off debt before #2, me getting older ;), age gap btwn the 2, etc. So many factors. WDYT? Oh, and no-one suggest any sooner, which I know you will,
I'm not ready. "I ...

I logged off and realized I didn't answer you. I found that shirt at Wal Mart in the toddler boy section. I saw a cute purple one with hearts in the girls dept. here. Let me know if you can't find one around there and I'll see if we still have them. A loves her monkey. My sis just bought her like eight new George books and she was

I've gained and lost a pound here and there so far, with a net gain of ZERO (despite eating
Lucky Charms like crazy instead of my usual oatmeal, which now disgusts the pg me). This past week, I've pretty much just eaten whatever I wanted, and almost gone out of my way to eat stuff I normally wouldn't, just to see what would happen. Yeah, I gained 3 lbs. Time to back that off a little bit!...

( While Gov. Sarah Palin is being grilled on her position on
mark-to-market accounting rules, the press can't bother to ask Joe Biden if he could give us a ballpark estimate on when Franklin D. Roosevelt was president -- or maybe take a stab at guessing the decade when televisions were first available to the public. Being interviewed by Katie Couric on the "CBS ...

Poor little guy is so congested. I feel so awful that there is not much I can do for him. I have to go and raise his mattress for tonight, but I have a
bad feeling he is still going to be uncomfortable. Any tips on the best way to elevate his mattress? A pillow always seems way too bulky and high. TIA

I realize I'm in danger of becoming the biggest whiner on this board, but I really need to vent again. I'm so sorry to keep dumping here. So DS has croup again. He had it a few months ago and ended up in the ER having to get a steroid shot and a breathing treatment. It was really bad. He just developed it again last night. We've recently moved across the country (probably part of why I'm such a...

It started when we went to get the food from the grocery store and had them inflate the balloons. Last year it cost around $10 for more balloons, so I didn't even think to ask what it would be this time. It was $33 for 25 balloons. Needless to say I was in shock. The balloons actually cost much less than that! I wanted to get the food and bring it back to my dad's house (
where the party ...

Hi, I don't typically post over here, but I figured it was the perfect board to tell this story and see what everyone thinks: DH and I cosleep and also wear DD around in a sling a lot, especially on walks around the neighborhood. So our neighbors are very familiar with the sight, and as DD has grown bigger she's a little more sqooshed in the sling, but still quite comfortable; falls asleep in...
