Me and my husband have had problems with his ex-wife since we got together. We have now been together for three years and are now married with an 11 month old son. When I was pregant with our son she would harrass us by driving by our house laying on her horn and calling my phone non stop. She would follow us around if we went anywhere. When we had our son she would say that she actually slept ...

My jurisdiction is: Florida There is this one. A man has a friend, Beth, with a privately owned clothing shop-Ego. (Felisa, the woman the man lives with also works in Ego.) The man agreed to help Beth increase the income of her shop-through advertising. (This also gave the man the a chance to see more of Felisa.) The man worked every day at increasing the income of the shop. By the sixth ...

What is normal setup or is it alright to have client responsible for litigation fees? ( lists out possible items- no $$ amount ). If we win, it comes out of that money, but if we lose or don't pursue for various reasons then we are responsible. Attorney fee's are on contingency. We are not sure about having it stated that we are responsible. Attorney says its so we don't go crazy ...

I'm being taken to mediation by a hostile downstairs neighbor. I live in a two family house, that is around 80-85 years old, and she has filed a request for mediation due to alleged loud music. A charge that just isn't true. I do watch T.V. at night, but the sound is down, and I even use the closed captioning so I can understand whats being said....

I live in Queens NY. I own 1/2 a house with a few estranged relatives. They placed an ad in the local paper advertising the sale of the house with my phone number. I did not give them permission to do this and now I'm getting a million phone calls about the house. Was it illegal for them to publish my phone number without my permission?

While in Zambia, I met a group of people working in a Zambian not-for-profit. These people were extremely hard up for money. I would like to send money to these people. However, I do not want to go to all the trouble of forming a not-for-profit corporation in the United States. I have looked into the process and it IS RIDICULOUS! Since I am a college student, I have a not-for-profit ...

I live in Texas and my ex recently moved out of state. He had visited me at one time and in the process his car (an I-Roc Z) had broken down at my house. He left it here telling me that someone from his family would pick it up. That was over 3 months ago. Before he moved I had asked him what he wanted me to do about the vehicle and he informed me that if no one came to pick it up within a ...

For six years we let our neighbor use our back field for their horses. Five acres, no charge. Half the field was already fenced and they closed off the other half with snow fence. After two years they removed our fence and shrubs without permission and replaced it with post and rail fence. They showed an interest in buying the field when they could afford it. Ok sounds good, in the meantime...

I wouldn't be making a big deal about the child. It has nothing to do with the matter. If the furniture was delivered damaged, did you make a complaint immediately? Did you dispute this with the credit card company if charged? I'd send a demand letter quickly and confirm your attempts made orally in the letter. If that doesn't get you any results, let them know you're suing them and reporting ...
