Loving My Internet Sample Dress!

That's incredible - well done you! There's an equivalent place here in England and I very very nearly went with it. It's a great thing to be able to save some money on something that would in any case only be worn for a few hours. Please share pics of your dress with us! What's it like? Major dress doubts...

Call your bridal salon, tell them the situation. The sooner, the better. The worst they can say is "no." And worst case scenario, you are stuck with the original dress. I can actually see why you like the second dress more. Simple and clean lines that are very classic. I would remove the satin band of the dress you chose, maybe that will give you a cleaner look that you wanted given the changes(assuming it is too late to change--you...

Nervous about Fittings
Published (2009-11-17 19:09:00)
I wouldn't worry. It's a third fitting so things should be 99% fine by then and they still have a week before the wedding. Ditto pp that close to the wedding is good for a final fitting. So if you don't need validation from strangers, then don't go asking for it. - Stackeye210

That included taking it in a lot from the sides, getting it bustled, changing it from a zip up to a corset, having a inner corset built in with boning for extra support, and straps put on...

Yes! I had mine built in (mostly for bust support) and I love it! I haven't had my wedding yet, but I wore it for my bridal portraits in the hot Texas sun and I still managed to breathe!

I bought my bustier from Dillards, it is exactly like the ones that are sold at victoria's secret, at a cheaper price. It is the Felina brand, you can google it. Here is the link to the Dillards site, there are others when you google it.: http://www.dillards.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/
ProductDisplay?catalogId=301&storeId=301&langI d=-1
&productId=500571058

You'll be fine - The closer to your wedding your final fitting is, the better!
Then you ask them if they know how lucky there are to be there. It all came so close to never happening. This life came so close to never happening.
