I'd say it depends on who you want to use. If you're trying to get in to someone like Mary Catomy, then book early! I was lucky because I bought a sample dress and didn't have to wait months for it to come in so I went ahead and set something up about 4-5 months in advance. But if you know when you'll have your dress, I say go for it. There's nothing wrong with being ahead of schedule!...

We're having ours at Architectural Artifacts, which is both a warehouse and something like a museum (except everything's for sale!). Not sure what the capacity is - we're doing 185 there with both the ceremony and the reception in the space. You could probably get more in if it's just a reception. Good luck!

I have tried it and my DH and I love it. I was so suprised that he is more flexible than me. The first class we went to, we didn't know what to expect. You feel like you shed about 5 lbs of water just sweating. There are a couple of poses, like the camel pose, that is supposed to open your heart chakra and it makes you extra sweaty. One of the pointers I have heard is just inquire about a service without mentioning "wedding" and you'll get a lower price! Thank you for posting. I just told my fiance how tired I am of explaining why we chose January! Also, "You better hope there's no blizzard!". No kidding! We got engaged in February. We originally wanted a fall wedding, but thought this fall was too soon and fall of 2010 is too far away. We picked the middle and decided January.
