I'd have to see the pattern. Is it done by graph or just written. If it's done with a graph you probably could. If it's just a written pattern --I don't think so.

The least expensive way would be to use a small awl to punch the holes. I bought mine at
Joann's. I'm giving you a link to the product, but you can probably buy them at any fabric store.
