geoduct.....do you realize that you must not have had allergies? What you had was reflux of stomach acid up into your throat/nose and that caused inflammation. I'm glad you found relief.

We had Secure Horizons through DH's retirement from the Teamsters Union. We have an HMO with a great prescription plan because of the Union......I doubt we could afford to pay out of pocket for anything different. It works for us.

Esophogus Spasming back...???
Published (2009-12-02 08:38:00)
I posted last year this time of an issue I was having. It felt like my heart was beating fast of oddly. It would happen mostly after dinner when I plopped into my recliner but other times as well. I saw my internal medicine doc who thought it was a combination of stress (which I did not believe but who knows), weight gain over the last 5 years (I was close to 190 pounds from 175) and perhaps some sort of gas. We did a heart monitor thing that...

Still don't know which box is best, the one you have is quite costly, but i guess you get what you pay for eh. Since this is a gift, it is just a bid over my budget. I copied a lot of the info.thank you once again. cAROL

Hypothyroidism
Published (2009-12-03 23:47:00)
I had a thyroidectomy in 2001 and have had problems with regulating my dosage of meds since then. My TSH has been from 1.5 to 4.99, which it is now. I feel the worst I've ever felt with dizziness, severe fatigue, muscle aches, anxiety, heart palpitations. I recently went to a new doctor and he increased my dosage of levothyroxine to 100 mcg. They were 88 mcg. After a week on new dosage, I started getting severely dizzy and the fatigue got...

Individuals with psoriasis may experience significant physical discomfort and some disability. Itching and pain can interfere with basic functions, such as self-care, walking, and sleep. Plaques on hands and feet can prevent individuals from working at certain occupations, playing some sports, and caring for family members or a home. The frequency of medical care is costly and can interfere with an employment or school schedule. People with...

That's great Rosealee! I am just recently diagnosed with Hashimotos 2 months ago. The doctor I am seeing has me on Armour Thyroid, I am up to 4 grains and not feeling much relief yet. Just got back from vacation and I feel so sorry for my husband who wanted to do much more - but I just tire so easily. I am out of breath after climbing a small hill or a couple sets of stairs. I could really ...

Hi Andre, I know this doesn't help you at all, but I too get various problems every Fall. I think our bodies prepare for winter, and this can cause problems. I'm a firm believer that we are supposed to slow down in winter, but that doesn't seem to be something anyone can do. Also, a person's appetite goes up at this time to give us some reserves over winter. Yes, these ideas are ...

Jenn, have you been checked for a retinal tear? I have had those and they healed themselves but the doctor said I need to have lots of light to see driving or when I read. Needless to say I try only to drive at night when there is lots of street lights but I won't drive in the country. Are you seeing more black floaters or have a film that seems to float over your eyes(I only notice this when it ...

catherinet, thanks for your answer. I'm not officially menopausal yet but I can relate to the "roving" pains! I hear alot about fibromyalgia, but don't really understand it. If possible, can you give me a description? And what is generally prescribed to help? BTW, I do Pilates which does work the arm muscles. But I've done it off and on for years without pain. Besides this, I really don't ...
