Frozen Distributor!!!!!!!!! HELP
Published (2009-12-03 10:11:00)
Very possibly the penetrating oil loosend up the varnish or sludge that was holding the distributor, but not as quickly. WD 40 will soften up sludge or varnish, but not as quickly as carb cleaner, WD-40 is great for removing tar which is not much different from sludge. The first time I used carb cleaner on a distributor, I was frustrated because nothing I tried had worked, I found a can of carb cleaner, sprayed the base of the distributor to...

Frozen Distributor!!!!!!!!! HELP
Published (2009-12-03 09:07:00)
the dizzy got stuck on me once when i was at the source's shop and i wanted to adjust my timing. we also tried the wd40 thing without much success. i remeber when i change my heads it wouldnt come out, so we worked around it to take off my gt40's. once the heads were off though, the distributor came right out like nothing. idk if this helps but maybe someone can chime in on why this happens or if theres a better way to do this

If you haven't purchased it yet, shoot me a PM. I might be able to sell it to you for a little cheaper. I would do the 250's for road race, 200's for the street and 150's for drag race.

Yes, u can run a turbo with a carb (BLO-THRU carb)
Size, well that depends on your goals, bufget etc......but chicks say size DOES matter
Twin turbo= Double the fun, less lag
Twin turbos need to be the same size unless u run some crazy sequential setup (smaller turbo feeds/spools the BIG one)
Superchargers are tried & true, but you will put a lil more stress on your bottom end(main bearings) ...
