Ordered mine just yesterday, with both a 30L and 45L cover. Nice feature new this year is the interchangeable covers. I'll be traveling alone quite a bit for work, and felt this was worth the investment even though the price is steep. Once I get some time with it, I'll post more info.

When it comes to probes, go long. I think that 185cm is just too short... so are any of the ski pole probes for that matter.

As the Colorado snow pack continues to rot away and with warm temps and high pressure forecasted for the next week or more, our annual layer of unconsolidated crap continues to get larger. This would be a bad idea for a couple of reasons. 1. Need a blasters liscense to carry, create, and detonate such a charge (mix of ANFO and diesel fuel) 2.
