Testim Gel

well Ive read it varies from area to area depending on the testing lab! I know this sounds bizarre but its something to do with their averages. In my health area (Glasgow) the healthy levels are said to be between 13 & 30. (I think there are also different scales for measuring hormones?)

My E2 (estradiol) levels vary from test to test but usually are in the 20-30ish pg/mL range using the sensitive assay. My understanding is that the normal range varies from 10-50 pg/mL with the ideal being in the 20s to 30s. You need E2 to maintain bone density so too low a level is bad just as surely as too high a level (which can lead to ED).

Growing organs

Did you guys see the "60 Minutes" episode this weekend on regenerative medicine? My doctor is at a research hospital and he's on a team, telling me we're less than a decade away from successfully regrowing organs, but I was skeptical. The 60 Mins show was an eye opener and gives me new hope. The segment on ECMs (Extra Cellular Matrix) was fascinating. Link's below,...

Testim Gel

Well, i'm now OFF of the Testim Gel. I saw my endo yesterday (the numpty previously mentioned ), and he wants me to quit the gels to get an accurate reading of how the Nebido injection I had 10 weeks ago is working now. I've been booked for a blood test on Thursday, and depending on what the results are, i've either got to get the next injection now, or wait a further two weeks and have it then (which will take me right through...

Im currently using Testim, and have been for about 12 weeks now, I use 10mg daily one tube per arm. I find the worst part of it for me is the sticky aftermath. Once its applied to my upper arms they are tacky and my shirts stick to my arms for a couple of hours after, it does wear off after a while but the stickiness after drives me crazy.
On a side note though, I have developed almost a ...

IMHO weekly or biweekly testosterone cypionate injections are not painful at all. Don't know about Nebido.

As Paul alludes to, you have to watch the diff between research based on
over supplementation for athletic reasons versus hormone REPLACEMENT... 2
different things.

I have been taking testim gel, but I believe they are to be IM, intramuscular injection. This isn't a medical website but the only one I could find for you with pictures of locations. http://www.steroid.com/inject.php

At 1.25g a pump, your dosage corresponds to 5g which seems to be the
starting dosage many doctors prescribe starting out. Your doctor should ask
you to return for follow-up blood work in a few weeks to see how you are
doing on that dosage and, at that dosage, you may very well find that
you'll need to have it increased to 6 pumps (or more). Just be sure to be
tested soon to see how you're ...

It's nice to know I won't be crippled by prescription charges, at least. That's if I can get as far as that. Currently, the urologist who did my surgery is loathe to give me...

Guess anything is possible but......this sounds very very suspect and totally bull to me. Even if there was a chance of this I would go with the Testosterone replacement.
It is always recommended that x2 guys get on the Testosterone without delay
Get to another doctor, seek a more informed doctor and inform yourself and pursue the testosterone replacement.

Jeff,
If the apnea is controlled and you make the right dietary and exercise decision, the Testosterone replacement should not impact you, particularly if you are followed/supervised.
