I have tomorrow's ad now. I get it delivered. However, there is no mention of the promo at all, so who knows. I guess I'll be surprised if/when I go next week. Bah humbug.

Too bad! I hate it when that happens! But I agree...that is the benefit of having multiple list stores. Last night I was going to beat myself up for not hitting one of my list stores one more time and then I pulled out the ad that starts today...I know that one of my other list stores is going to use those Qs this week based on the ad. I immediately felt better!

That is so wonderful! We are waiting on DD's list to come any day now....they normally ask us to bring in one type of item (each class concentrates on one category). So, depending on what it is and how many I have, I'm going to call and ask if I can donate extras that aren't in her category...surely they will not have a problem with that. If so, I will just take it by the food bank!

I hit up the Bread Outlet today! Thurs are double punch day, so I spent $7.14 but got credit for $14. I got two loaves of whole grain bread, 2 bags of bagels, 2 bags of donuts, hot dog buns AND these odd lil things that look like very thin hamburger buns? They were my freebie along with the donuts. I'll take all that for $7!! Plus if you bring your own bags, you get an extra freebie!! Jore

We, too, prefer the Arnolds Sandwich Thins. We tried some back in July at my aunt's house and liked it, I didn't buy it until a month ago and DH said it's awesome. We don't eat a lot of sandwiches so it's not a horrible loss for us to buy one bag each payday For a regular loaf wheat bread we like Sara Lee. For grilled cheese we use white bread and I can buy any cheapo stuff for that.

LOL, Jenni. I could have written that post. When I do my weekly menus I always used to assume I had this or that but after last minute (and expensive) runs to the store to buy the canned tomatoes or whatever I thought I had I started making a shopping list and a "check the stockpile" list when I do the menu. Then I "shop" my stockpile bringing what I need for the week to the kitchen. Much smoother.

Hi AZ.twinmom! I'm not sure, as I don't have a Fry's. However, check the bottom of your list, as many times it says in the footer. If it does not say, feel free to contact your listmaker by going to www.thegrocerygame.com , log into your GG account, click on Customer Service, click on Fry's, type your message and send. Hopefully, someone will be along shortly though to help you here!

Looks like the closest store (aside from the Shop Rite you mention) is a Pathmark ~38 minutes away in Landing, NJ. It's right off 80. ShopRite is a great List store, though, so don't fret!! And you have a Walgreens & CVS there in town, too. If you move, let us know! I'll be sure to wave up north at ya. LOL Just 2 hours south of the Pokes myself.

I was just at HT today and have noticed a few problems. They have been out of Heinz ketchup for 2 weeks (turns out to be a manf. issue). Ahhh but you didn't apply your GG knowledge at McDonald's my dear. I can feed my family of 4 (3 of them voracious pigs) for $10 off the dollar menu. When the choice is the dollar menu or nothing, the dollar menu sound pretty good. LOL. Still I know I can do better at home using my stockpile. Sometimes though it's a nice treat for me not to have to cook and it's a nice treat for the ...

Welcome! Sounds like you need to change newspapers. Smaller newspapers will not have the same quantity of coupons in their inserts and they will often be for lesser values as well. Can you obtain the LA Times where you are? I used that newspaper while living in So CA and never had an issue with "missing" coupons. Jore
